  My thoughts about the whole thing of "trying to find the God particle" is that the scientists have minimized in their minds the real danger that they can be stirring up, because they want fame and credit for being the first to gain that sort of knowledge. I think about Atlantis and how their science got away from them and where they are now (where are they now? haha), and now I have to worry about humans creating a black hole with their experimenting and getting the earth sucked into the black hole!!! Just wonderful!! I am sure they may find some interesting data but is it really worth the risk? The God particle? We are all particles of God, is that not enough to know? Sometimes science and scientists scare me shitless. Not necessarily the day to day science stuff that does not have the potential to have something DRASTICALLY go wrong like this whole collider business. It is just that I do not have enough faith in humans to handle anything as dangerous. I could site many examples of science gone wrong, we all can. I just hope this is not the worse mistake of all. I can see the allure to the scientists, I just hope to goodness they REALLY know what they are doing. I would not want to live anywhere near their facility, as I do not even feel safe from it in the USA, far away...

    are you referring to "the other side" Ever see a movie called event horizon? I am more than open to opinions as my knowledge of particle physics may not be a strong enough platform to dive into this sort of conversation, what I rely on mostley is my "Sense" and all of the knowledge out there usually reaffirms my beliefs. What I can sense just from your words is a great strength but along with this is anger, which may lead to ignorance. My theory is just we need to bring the "entire" world together and thrive for balance and harmony. I like Marique as this individual seems to think laterally. Apparently the "Galactic community" is cautious about the homo sapien sapien because they are an entity that "kills itself" Hopefully if we get our "stuff" together we can learn from the past... and apply this knowledge in the future.   My question is, in all of these "Democratic" countries where was the public input on the construction of this device? We dont even have a say no matter what. The only thing we have is our higher power, and mine says get the hell out, before your stuck down that rabbit hole. This I believe is the final seperation of God and man and while its VERY important to think positivley, but most people cant even raise children properly or see each other as equal, and were thinking were at a pinnacle of human discovery. We should not seek this sort of power untill we are balanced. But who am I, the same people who make these decisions for us say im crazy... I know for a fact.. Im more aware then they will ever be. I guess if we have no choice in the matter it's important for us all to be aware of a "greater force" then most are aware of that will have the ability to intervene if there is due cause. If not then we may just make way for the next great "Creation"

  I saw it Live yesterday. It was very intersting. But it was only a collisions of 3.5 TeV per beam. They will repeat those collisons until 2011. They will create a collison with 7.0 TeV per beam in 2012! Is this coincidence? Could it have something to do with the change of dimension in 2012? I hope nothing bad will happen, I just live 2 hours away from Geneva! I trust in our cosmic bros and sisters ;-)
