  I understand, Valana... It has to do with the conditioned human mind and learning to take back the reins of control from it... we need to train it similarly to training a dog not to drop his droppings in our house. : ) The dog here would represent the limited human conditioned/brainwashed mind, and the "droppings" would be the lashing out in anger and resentment towards others or society... and the "house" would represent our and others Spiritual Presence. We need to learn to respect our own and others Spiritual Presence by noticing these "droppings" sooner and sooner and eventually we will be able to process them internally and stop stinking up this Big House of Spiritual Presences. : )

  Good point.  What bothers me is how NASTY people can be over the Internet.  They love to call people names, etc.  They are anonymus so they feel that they can say whatever  they want in whatever way they want to say it.  I think that it is a nastyness contest over the Internet.  I think that this is a reflecton of poor schooling.  (When I was in school we were taught to be POLITE if we had a difference of opinion.  Also, I do not think that kids are taught MANNERS at home, and, needless to say, this carries over into adulthood).     I think that people should be polite if they have a difference.  I don't get nasty unless people get nasty with me.

    Yes, interesting perspective D-Star... so what happened in your school if you weren't polite?
    
    If someone gets 'nasty' with me, I either just go the other way and leave them to their own nastiness... or I will politely ask them a few questions so that they will have to think more about why they are being so nasty, and maybe I can better understand what their nastiness is all about. I will see if I can disarm them with kindness and humor... and if that doesn't get through to them, I may make a few suggestions and be on my way... I see no reason to stoop to nastiness myself, as this just usually 'fuels their fire' and drops my vibes down several notches.

  How can we expect to get to the real truth of a matter if we continue to attack, belittle, or make fun of those with a different viewpoint than our own?

  through the process of elimination – piling off an artificial layers of accumulated believes, norms, standard, expectations and etc …. nasty business … ;)) … but very necessarily to each individual … Love is an Ultimate Reality – but to reach that reality there are steps that each of us must take … example … ;)) – “ the dog that has been bitten often will not except love, it will bite anybody who will come near, however tolerance, understanding, kindness, patience – are the key to earn the trust which may create the space for love … and great friendship – gentle hand and kind heart can tame any beast” …;))

  Some times humanity reminds of ‘teenager stage’  some how we are stuck on that level … you know ‘moody, bad-tempered, refusing to talk about feeling … wanting more different forms of freedom you know self expressing stuff … physical changes, ‘hormones’, obnoxious, feeling that no one really understands, confusion, acting rebellious, aggressive, constantly at war, angry … lol … yelling, swearing - but the world never stops for anybody and anything - it demands for us to grow up … by all means necessarily and if we continue to resist it will persist with more force … one way or another – however what we’re missing is Parenting Guidance … I am not talking about Spiritual Guidance – starting with each generation there is a pattern which has been caring from one generation to another and it’s hard to brake free without proper knowledge - in some way we’ve grow up by ourselves and on our own … Love can only be born on Trust – that’s is Unity – however trust have to be Earned both ways - when some body saying that one must love him/her self to a "pissed off' individual (which are most of us, some show and some have better control, but still it's there) - in my opinion it will only make situation worse ... now creating the space to allow lots of mistakes could make the ‘transition’ a little easier … anyway hope it make sense … lol … nice post Tally ;))

    From my perspective, Love is not some lofty concept which we need to struggle with for eons to attain... it's more like our completely natural state of being, our Original state... which has been clouded by the mind's attempts to 'figure everything out', and control all things. Love is not a control mechanism, like the mind... Love is a free-flowing state of being... it doesn't need to figure anything out, it has Everything to begin with... including infinite energy to mold 'reality'.
    
    In order for us to 'reach' this natural state... we need to stop reaching out with the mind to try and figure out more of the mind's nonsense... and instead open up within, where the Love Always Is... always giving us this Life to move and have our Existence... So we begin to feel the Power of Love, the Power of Connection with Life... which may then be used to mold 'reality', effortlessly. This is exactly how we will change this world... and I can feel a great surge of Love now... so let us now send/spread it out together to the rest of the planet, so that it will blossom in everyone's hearts... not just our own.

    Thanks for this powerfully sweet song, John... I've always loved this one. I always thought it was written by Cindy Lauper, but I just looked it up... and read that it was the only original song on her second album that she didn't help write... it was apparently written by Billy Steinberg and Tom Kelly.

  Yes, you are right... whether we remind ourselves, or someone else does, it is a major step in our advancement to continually catch ourselves when we begin to slip from our desired moral ideals... and the sooner we catch ourselves, the better... Otherwise, we will have a stronger reminder further down the road, because the Universe naturally gives us feedback... as it is always 'seeking' the naturally balanced state of pure Love... just like Us. : )

  Thanks for that 'Iconic Classic', Kelly... : ) Never heard that, that i can recall. It said I wasn't able to play in my country... so I looked up another version...: ) here it is for others to hear in the US...
