Singular life and problems do not outweigh the issues of all mankind and last-minute attempts to interfere with Ascension. The WingMakers arrive at the same time with orbital weapons platforms and the “Emperor of Time”, this last survivor of the Time Consortium four trillion years from the future, who has been altering the timelines so much that we have no idea what is what.
