Lets start with this:
True knowledge is found within the dimensions of self. All else is a hypothetical symbol with an attached agenda. The only thing real on this plane of existence is consciousness, everything else is the illusion of perception.
The whole concept of duality in my eyes is a misunderstood universal law. The perception of two opposites is a complete illusion. Opposites are identical in nature but different in degree making them one in the same.
Example: Do we not agree a thermometer measures our perception of hot and cold? Now, I must ask where does cold end and hot begin? The duality is the idea of hot and cold being separate when in reality they are nothing but ways for us to describe two separate vibrational characteristics of the same force...temperature. There is no dual nature to temperature, it just is.
The duality comes when we add a percieved attribute to the vibration we are trying to recognize. We can vibrate at a slow rate which causes density to manifest such as the state of matter exists or in the case of emotions,anger and hatred, or we can raise the frequency until it achieves such a resonance as to transcend all states within the laws of dimensionality and rejoin creator in the form of unconditional love and understanding of all that is.
Example: When a wheel spins very slowly there isn't much happening to our understanding but as it spins faster the vibrational frequency also raises causing a low hum. As it picks up vibrational momentum the pitch changes through the whole audio spectrum. With intensifying degrees of vibration there is a perception of rising degrees of heat followed further by a dull reddish color that builds through the color spectrum on into x ray and beyond until the vibration is so high it blinks out of existence within this dimension. If this rate of vibration were to keep increasing it would eventually become so high it would rejoin the creator force we call God, Spirit etc.
This is the principle we are here to rediscover within ourselves to help humanity as a whole evolve into using the higher universal laws against the lower universal laws.
We cannot stop the swing of the universal pendulum but we can learn to use the higher laws to transmute the lower laws to the degree of vibration which is in the highest good of the collective consciousness. I sense this momentum building as I watch the world awaken and shed the belief systems of the lower frequencies. I'm excited!!!

I must give the Kybalion credit for the idea of that example. It's a must read for anyone starting the path of awakening IMHO. Freedom of Choice by Dr. Chalko is a great companion read. Chalko seems to use Hermetic wisdom in his reasoning and Kybalion puts Chalko's thoughts into perspective. Both are mind expanding...especially together. Power of... is the scientific application of prayer using psychology. Have fun!!!

Duality is an illusion, both are sides of the same thing... also Negativity is necessary to show us what we're not so we can be the opposite, and to make it easier for us to bring Light into the Darkness. :P
Exactly. Light isn't so special without the contrast of dark. The universal laws forces us into that path of extremes to create balance. By using the higher laws against the lower laws we can turn this effect in our favor. The pendulum of duality doesn't necessarily have to swing to both extremes. We have the ability to bend the laws of the universe in our favor. We can negate the law of gravity by using the higher law of thrust. That doesn't mean that gravity stops existing. We've just used a higher force to overcome a lower force to achieve our desired goal.
It can be such a struggle with the designed amount of distractions. I think I subconsciously turn most tasks into a form of meditation now days.
Thank you. It's funny. It started as a small thought and I was furiously hitting the letters on the keyboard and surprised myself when I went back and read it. It's amazing what happens when we consciously put Ego aside and let higher self speak unhindered by reasoning.
