The statue of liberty, SOL, appears a handful of times over the years in the Simpsons. Here, we examine two of these episodes, 14 years apart. Both episodes contain scenes of people inside Lady Liberty’s head. In the first episode, the Simpson’s forefather, Abraham, details his immigration to America where he lives in Lady Liberty’s head. In the second episode, a secret society convenes a diabolical meeting inside Lady Liberties Head to create a fake virus. The episodes contain themes of Abraham Lincoln, red balloons, quarantine, vaccination, currency shortage, deportation,  JFK Jr. appears 24 years ago on Simpsons.  It was all planned!
