This is really the biggest faux pas I've ever seen from a person who should know better. I cannot believe he did this but it is true. I thought that this was a joke until I saw that even Snopes said it is true!!! Just when one thinks that Barack Obama cannot stoop any lower he does.
Remember a few weeks ago when he suggested to donors to not purchase wedding, birthday or anniversary gifts and rather donate to his campaign, then set up as registry to do so on his website?
Now he is calling for donors to forgo an expensive funeral and cremate loved ones which is much less costly and donate the difference to his reelection campaign. Yes, skip the casket, the grave site, the burial vault and cremate your loved one to show how much you want Obama reelected.

I do think it is pretty low to suggest to people to skip a relatives funeral and stuff to donate to his campaign. What do you think, is this pretty crappy or am I just being over offended here?

I'm not American, but this is so wrong on so many levels and that man should be ashamed, resorting to this kind of lowness,
certainly not putting himself in a very good light.
I agree Light Being. I just wanted to see if it was just me who found it tacky and offensive. I got a lot of emails agreeing that it was not so nice. I feel vindicated for my indignance. Now I move on....worse things have been done by people trying to get elected. Just took me by surprise when I saw it...and rushed to share it. It set off my tacky alert.....lol. Not saying that Mitt is any better. I do not like either candidate this year for various reasons....
In one of the Spiritual blogs a few weeks ago, I think it was Kryon or one of the other Ascended Masters that stated that "cremation of the physical remains" is the best thing to do! I was surprised but that is what was stated in the blog!! I will see if I can find that blog and repost that statement.
I myself plan to be cremated, that is what resonates with me. Dust to dust, ashes to ashes....that is the way to fly for me.

I agree with you Vagelis, my shock and outrage is now spent out....they are politicians what should I expect? The whole system sucks out loud.....Now to get on with my day....
This is from his website and I find it totally reprehensible. Is this the actions of a lightworker???? I think it is tacky and very disrespectful. What do you all think....just needed to get this outrage out of me.
