  It's not losing faith, it's common sense, this is something I've always spoken for, you can check it in my profile, first thing I wrote before coming here or talking to anybody.

   

  I do listen to the channeled messages, a lot of them help me at a spiritual level, they have helped me to reach emotional stability, but the predictions... that's something I can't stick to, not even my own, this now moment it too fragile to follow any plan of any kind.

   

  As for what others think, I honestly don't know, I don't keep track on their beliefs, and even so, they are not supposed to stay the same through time.

  Pichu - thanks for sharing but just to put aside the video for a moment .. and can you tell me what is your own take on 2012 ? - not from any books, channeled messages, videos etc etc ... just, what is your vision, period ?

  The video goes from infuriating to inspiring and back.

  You are no good… you have to be rescued…

  There is a reason for why you are here… there is a plan afoot…

  So why do we want to escape, be rescued? By whom? Superior aliens? Grow up! We are those “aliens”.

  But we have to learn to think for ourself.

  
  

  This whole alien and spirituality business is a form of Cargo Cult --- a childish desire to have things done for us.

   

  The true state of human affairs has been stated by many thinkers. Here is one statement from 90 years ago

  …if the time-binding energies of humanity had been always permitted to operate unhampered by hostile circumstances, they would long ere now have produced a state of civilization compared with which our present estate would seem mean, meagre, savage. …we know that those peculiar energies—the civilization-producing energies of man—far from being always permitted to operate according to the laws of their nature, have never been permitted so to operate, but have always been hampered and are hampered to-day by hostile circumstances…

  The question is what are those hostile circumstances and what prevents us from growing up and seeing our true potential, as a species, and living by that vision.

    ...i didnt see the video.. but i agree too with Janos.....and whats preventing us from growing up and seeing our true potential,is our own mind... our egos... cause ego resides in the mind......

    thats why many are saying "Get to your Heart"...if people were acting from their Hearts, we would be living in a different world now... a hell lot better world...

      I would say "get heart and mind attuned" then we can see through "spiritual" views of questionable credibility like,

      ...as for the children and loved ones who die, its sad for us but its a part of life. Some have a reason to come here  only for a short time maybe to fulfil that part of their karma...

      (referring to the fact that thousands die daily from hunger)

    AGREEing with you Janosebel totally. We humans tend to religionize a lot looking for answers outside ourselves when we should be looking within.

      Thank you. To be a kind of gadfly in a spiritually blissed out community is pretty uncomfortable. So thank you, again, for showing that I am not just a troublesome troll.

    I agree with you in many levels, but the most interesting idea that crossed my mind was, what if there is no "dark cabal", what if it was us all along, and thinking about it makes sense, I know people and I know that some of the worst decisions made by authorities have nothing to do with something out of this world.
