Greetings friends! Today I bring you a subject that is a bit conspiranoic but it may be something.

Lets go to the White House webpage (http://www.whitehouse.gov/)

And explore the page HTML source code (The code in wich each webpage is written, all the elements of the page appear in the source code INFO)

In the line 225 of the source code we notice a linkĀ  to apply for a job...

Wich in the webpage is located at the bottom here...

rL5Pg.png

Going to that URL will take us to the application to apply for a job...

However... if we modify the text in the URL between the two last slashes (/), with anything for example:

https://app2.whitehouse.gov/randomtext/

We get to what I think is a placeholder webpage, the /randomtext webpage of course doesn't exist, and that is why we are taken to this page, and untill here is normal, what is strange, is the content of this placeholder/error page, because generally you want to show a 404 error if the page doesn't exist.

However, in this ocasion we get this message:

LTQyt.png"The WHTS website is unavailable on September 11 and September 12. Please check back on September 13th when the new WHTS website will be operational. We appreciate your patience as we transition to the new system."

I suppose that WHTS stands for White House.. (correct me if I'm wrong)

What is interesting is the date when it will be unavailable, the 11th and 12th of September...

More interesting is the las sentence: "We appreciate your patience as we transition to the new system."

What is "this new system"? the new webpage?

But if not, what it is? why implement it the 9/11?

  • My brother in law would know, but I am not going to go there. He is too important for me to risk his current job title.
