Rapture

Everybody is thereWooshNo ChristiansFor the past two or so centuaries, many Christian denominations have been preaching a terifying escatology that is infact not even written in the bible. Suddenly, Jesus will creep in like a thief and steal Christians off the world. Like the witches flying with their brooms, Jesus will whisk Christian and in a twingle on an eye, they will find themselves drinking the whisky brewed by God himself (Isaiah 25:6).As the Christian marry Jesus and prepare to play harps in the clouds forever, the non-beleives are marrying the devil down here and preparing for an everlasting roast in the burning sulphur.Apparently the true story of Christ second comming as written in the bible was not terrifying enough to scare people to church yet terrifying enough to make the beleiver uneasy. It placed the comming antichrist and hence persecutions before the beleivers cower in the banquet. Meanwhile some unbeleiver say I will just sin as much as I wish and just repent when I see jesus come! So the idea of a pretribulation rapture is realy convinient. It kills two birds with a single stone. By whichever means, it has to be hammered into the bible just like the story of Lucifer.The realy convinient thing about the Gospel books is that Jesus keep darting hopelessy from parables, figures of speech and litteral language. By simply chosing what to interprate and what to take it litteraly, one can mould the bible to say anything he want. The bible become just like a mirror used by priests to see their own beleifs.But it is pretty obvious that Jesus meant the following passage to be take literaly:"There will be signs in the sun, moons and stars. On the earth, nations will be in anguish and perplexity at the tossing and roaring of the sea. Men will faint from terror aprehensive of what is coming on earth for the heavenly bodies will be shaken. At that time they will see the son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. When these things begine to take place, stand up lift up your heads because your redemtion is drawing near" Luke: 21:35

Did Jesus say that...or did Luke say that. How much of the Bible is what Jesus really said?????..Certainly nothing in the Old Book for Jesus brought new ideas. He taught about a God of Love..unlike the wrathful, vengeful God of the OT. I´m sure there is a lot in the OT that Jesus would not agree with.....wonder what he would say about the NT????..

Knowing what we now know about the return of Christ Consciousness/Unity energy to all people adds a new dimension to Lukes description...

anyhow, from Luke´s description, I think we can say that redemption is near.....is there a law in physics that says ´´when something reaches maximum chaos, then something new appears.´´ ???like boiling water.

Jesus extends the 'justice' of Yahweh with full force in the NT

"I tell you, it will be more bearable on that day for sodom than for that town" Luke 10:12

"It will be more bearable for Tire and Sidon at the judgement than you " Luke 10:14

The only difference is that Yahweh punnished for oppressing the poor, roping the fatherless, injustice in courts, shading innocent blood. The God of Jesus will send you to burning sulphur for not beleiving that he is Jesus's dad. And he loves you!
