The only difference is that Yahweh punnished for oppressing the poor, roping the fatherless, injustice in courts, shading innocent blood. The God of Jesus will send you to burning sulphur for not beleiving that he is Jesus's dad. And he loves you!
Did Jesus say that...or did Luke say that. How much of the Bible is what Jesus really said?????..Certainly nothing in the Old Book for Jesus brought new ideas. He taught about a God of Love..unlike the wrathful, vengeful God of the OT. I´m sure there is a lot in the OT that Jesus would not agree with.....wonder what he would say about the NT????..
Knowing what we now know about the return of Christ Consciousness/Unity energy to all people adds a new dimension to Lukes description...
anyhow, from Luke´s description, I think we can say that redemption is near.....is there a law in physics that says ´´when something reaches maximum chaos, then something new appears.´´ ???like boiling water.
