.. and Ara, just reading your comment here and it reminded me of a scene from the film Naked, whereby the central charactor speaks about St John the final Book of Revelations .. in the video here he describes in the Book of Daniel, Wormwood will poison a third part of all the waters and a third part of all the land .... Russian translation for Wormwood is Chernobyl ..
Not sure if this fictional film scene strongly relates to ISON but it ties in nicely to what you have written about Nevski and Novichonok and the Revelations.
... its also a very good movie. The entire clip is worth watching or skip to around 2.18 for the Revelations part.
