Vice presidential debate moderator Martha Raddatz and her former husband hosted President Obama at their wedding more than 20 years ago, ABC News confirmed Wednesday.
The network, in confirming the fact, also fired back at a report by the Daily Caller which first raised the issue of Raddatz' connection to the president in advance of the lone VP debate on Thursday.
The network's statement came as both presidential campaigns said they had no concerns over Raddatz's role as moderator of the critical debate.

Ok, this got me confused. The I read it the first time, this VP debate moderator was also a bus driver that told a kid he should have been aborted for having a Romney sign on his front yard, LOL. But actually this is two separate and non related stories rolled into the same post....so my comments will be addressed to each thing separately. Shame on whoever thought she could be a nonbiased moderator, and after finding out about her connections, shame of then decisionmakers for having someone so biased as her moderating the debate, lol.
As for the separate and unrelated bus driver story, the bus driver was fired which he deserved, and I think they should have looked into it as a case of child abuse for intentionally causing emotional distress to the child..but I guess that is not done, but if I were a lawyer and had laws to back me up I would go after the guy for duress..To say something like that to a child is reprehensible...but children get mentally abused every day..,.I went to Walmart the other day and there was this woman who was pushing her child about three years old around in the cart while he was crying and whailing and I heard a loud smack but did not actually see it (or I would have called the police) but the worst of it was what she was saying to the child that everyone could hear. She was calling him a little motherfu--er, and a sh-thead and a bunch of other swears all strung together I will not even repeat. He was crying like mad and cowering and people were looking at him and felt sorry for him...Unfortunately nobody could do anything because nobody saw her actually hit him but it was obvious, but there is no law against hollering at a kid and swearing at him...There should be.
the bus driver is a separate story-link is there-she saw a romney sign in the kids front yard and over a week or two was aguing with a 12 year old and eventually said that the kid should have been aborted-to his face.
