Planetary Unfolding

Embark on a journey from the heart of space to alien landscapes of creation in the space ambient classic "Planetary Unfolding" by Michael Stearns. High quality space pictures fading each into other make for an interesting experience. This album has inspired me since I was very young. Very deep and uplifting.

1) In the Beginning (0:00)
2) Toto, I've a feeling we're not in Kansas anymore (8:00)
3) Whenever two or more are gathered (14:12)
4) Life in the gravity well (22:14)
5) As the Earth kissed the Moon (29:09)
6) Something's Moving (39:04)

Michael Stearns became a resident composer musician at Emily Conrad's meditation classes in 1975. He composed and performed on a Minimoog and various electro-acoustic instruments. In 1979, he was introduced to the Serge modular synthesizer by Kevin Braheny, who owned a 15-panels system ("The Mighty Serge"), which he used on Morning Jewel. He then built his own 12-panels Serge. On this one as he already did with Braheny's system he performed electronic music with a strong feeling of space.

The album was given a first release under Michael Stearns' own label, Continuum Montage, in 1981. It was reissued on CD from 1985 to 1991 by Sonic Atmospheres and is since unavailable: as of June 2009, it hasn't been reissued on Stearns's 2000-launched label Earth Turtle.

"Yes, very true and amazing to observe how truly deluded he is, over where the UK's people stand on any issue....Being the most unpopular PM in history, he has the nerve to suggest that "Britain is not the same now, as those Brexit years."

"It’s a total conflict of interest for Starmer to be the one picking the election dates. 4.5 million voters sidelined is insane. The Electoral Commission sounds seriously unimpressed with him. He better watch it, they can try to sweep the vote aside,…"

"Lol I know, Hollywood definitely loves a cliché! You’ve given me a completely different perspective on Paterson though, the reality sounds far more intense. The UK is heading the same way, although there’s a bit more pushback here lately. It’s…"

"I have a genuine sense of righteous indignation, over being among those four and half million voters, having my vote cancelled, delayed for two years running...Starmer and his tinpot ilk, had better watch it, as he and they, will be held to account…"

"Movella, lol-a guy from Paterson NJ meets his high school girlfriend after 25 years-she a covert agent! Added that to my watchlist.

Paterson in reality-the mayor has allowed palistian flags to be sewn onto the uniforms of all city policeman.
