Mood swings

Recently ive bin getting so moody for the most tiny little things like my phone, if i drop something or cant get something right. I never take it out on people as i never do but ill raise my voice n swear at objects or even hit or break something. I cant help it. Playing guitar normally helps me but ive started calling that names to. Does anybody know ways of calming downThank u

  • Well i thought id add that i breath white light into my heart area and ill feel all the energy build up there but i also breath white light eveywhere else..when i breath into my stomach to my second chakra i feel a burny energy sensation but if i remember correctly thats where chi builds up?? With my throat i feel where the oxygen hits my throat and the energy builds up intensly there aswell. All im saying is dont contradict but try new things as its not neccessarily just focusing on the breath but also youre energy and where it is...it feels really relaxing to do any of these. I also dont know how sensitive other people are compared to me or whether im used to it. I get random popping feels a different places around my head and things like staticy sensations going down my fingers and toes..the more and more i meditated over these few months the more i felt these sensations building up in different places at different levels..its affected by my mood aswell.
    Id like to say thank you to everyone who has helped, ill try what i havent tryed before..i was so unhappy that day but the amount of replies and help i got cheered me up straight away and the next day i had a huge smile on my face :D the other thing is my internet access is through my phone which is very slow and i dont get a lot of time to use it.   • I am able to step back from the situation, and view how any certain feeling would go, what it would possibly cause, and then the ripple effect from that original cause.

    In most cases, it is alright to be upset, as you are. but there are several ways to eleviate the problem, you can convert the emotion into something more suitable to do. When I am angry, I convert it into sadness to cry, rather than hit or break something or even lash out, I vent with my eyes and my heart, I release it through a gentle sadness. 

    I also try to make every moment into a humorous one. So try finding all the funny things in life! there are always things to laugh at! :)

    • This does help, you have mentioned a few things which i do do but only in a negative state, when i was calling things names i came out with a few funny sayings which i wouldnt normally..if someone listened to me i know they would have laughed :P i work with a few people and they are all ego so depending what they do or say determins what mood ill be in for that day, i just cant wait til i can go home, get ready, see my mates and probably have a smoke lol Peace, Love and even more Light to you :P
  • This always works for me when I'm in a mood (along with breathing) - I focus all my mental energy on reminding myself that being angry/feeling anger does no good for my mind or body, then I imagine a cocoon on pink, fluffy, happy energy encapsulating my entire body and I just breath deeply for a little while.  It ALWAYS works.  Always.

    Give it a try (or one of the many great methods above) and I'm sure your moods will stabilize over time.

    • Yeah ive tryed this kinda thing before and youve just reminded me of it so i thank you, i picture myself in my own personal bubble where i think nobody can get to me, i fill it full of white light whilst feeling myself go warmer, i automaticly smile then giggle coz ive realised im smiling :P when you say 'you are the answer you seek' it made me realise that i do think a lot of things that fit together, i end up questioning literally everything i do, thank you for this

  • Well I would suggest to just relax, let your body go limp. Don't be so tense. And don't...try to do anything lol Trying to relax doesn't really work that well, because trying leads to tension.....you have to just let it happen, relax your mind body spirit. I know people here are saying take deep breaths...I don't recommend that, just relax your breathing, don't force it....and breath with your center, your heart...not your head or nose...breath with your diaphragm not your larynx. Just totally relax everything, and you'll see you'll be more calm, more cool....you'll be more happy and positive....things won't get to you....the art of relaxation is really important...

    • I take deep breathes to start off with and it gets me relaxedish, ive always found myself doing youre breathing technique naturally and i end up thinking im doing it wrong so ill start focusing on breathing again..then i just lose it and become more awake. I normally breath and concentrate on my throat but im going to try from my heart. It has helped, i like to mix and add things to meditation, i do struggle for time and thats the biggest problem for me. Thank you, muchly appreciated :) peace dude
      • Well head breathing requires more tension than heart breathing...it's not ideal. I know many people say breath through your nose and out your mouth....I never do that, I always breath from my torso, my core...with the diaphragm. That's where natural breathing takes place anyways.

        I've found the best way to relax...is just to relax lol Don't force anything, don't try to breath, don't focus on anything...just relax, totally relax, relax your mind, your heart, and your body. A nice warm bath helps too, I love my baths...I just came out of one right now lol I mean nothing relaxes you quite like just laying in a bath, and totally relaxing your muscles. Also, try to get out of the left brain and be right brained, that also is an automatic relaxer. I've learned all these things through trial and error, so I know they'll help you!

        • Eh, You don't want the poor dude dead Jancar lol, Seriously. Breathing out of the nose and mouth can't be stopped it's a natural process of things, and anyone that says anything different is lying.

          How can you just breathe from the Heart, without breathing through the nose and mouth area of the body? What about the Lungs? You are skipping over the Lung areas as well

          Everything in our body are parts that help us breathe, and it doesn't have anything to do with being more left brain or right brain, when we are balanced with the two

          You can't just breathe from the Heart, that is impossible and incorrect.
