  It makes me think of the words of the Great Ascended Master Jesus who said 'unless you humble yourselves and become like little children, you will never enter the Kingdom of Heaven'.

   

  I'm still fiesty by nature but walked away instead. It feels like defeat but I have to tell myself not to give my energy to ignorant people of a fearful vibration.  Who wins? Me, I guess, even though I want to defend myself.

   

  It takes discipline doesn't it. This must be what Mastery is. Mastery of our ego perhaps?

  I received this the other day Kelly-Ann and I thought of this as I was reading about how difficult people are drawn to you and it is the same in my case.  All the major people in my life, family, children and husbands have been really tough to cope with a lot of the time (most is more appropriate, lol).  I just wanted to share this with you because someone sent it to me because I was having a tough time coping with some of these people and felt fed up completely.  Just had to share this...forgive me, lol. It is so dam cute....

   

  Fable of the
  
  Porcupines

   

  

  It was the coldest winter ever. Many animals died because of the cold.

  The porcupines, realizing the situation, decided to group together to keep warm. This way they covered and
  Protected themselves; but the quills of each one wounded their closest companions.

  After awhile, they decided to distance themselves one from the other and they began to die, alone and frozen. So they had to make a choice: either accept the quills of their
  Companions or disappear from the Earth..

  Wisely, they decided to go back to being together. They learned to live with the little wounds caused by the close
  Relationship with their companions in order to receive the heat that came from the others. This way they were able to survive.
  The best relationship is not the one that brings together perfect people, but when each individual learns to live with the imperfections of others and can admire the other person's good qualities.

  The moral of the story is:

   

  Just learn to live with the Pricks in your life!

  i know!

   

  It's just becoming so uncomfortable now. Trying to spread love always feels to me like hugging a porcupine or sea urchin. 

   

  And they do want something from us, this nurturing. Yet their attitude is that we obligated to give it to them and they get mad when we have boundaries! 

   

  I'm just finding it too difficult now to get caught up with them. I simply can't relate. It's not to say there arn't lovely people with integrity out there, it's just often that they burn us or something as they are still lost within themselves. Or just cannot HEAR what we have to say. Their hearts are so dull and dead.

  Yeah you're right, it is the unknown.

   

  I've jumped on other forums trying to meet people. I know it's incredibly risky because they arn't evolved souls, yet I can't just keep being a real recluse. We have needs to be social somewhat.

   

  I got heckled and they were so 'afraid' of me. I thought 'gosh I'm one of the most harmless individuals around!' And one of the nicest ones they could meet. I even let insects out the door rather than kill them (unless mozzies).

    dear Butterfly,exactly,and no wonder we like to be a Hermit,or Recluse,over the passing years,but now,i just have come to realise that all in time,that are fear based,have been do to the fact as our brother Alf stated, So the guilt have it the Black Hats..they keep it under lack of  knowledge..not us..and there desperate concerns now,are more incarnated becoming more telepathic,resulting in the truth of the lies that they have been lead to believe from the Dark Hats for such a very long time,that is the Fear of not knowing,and the social structure of that will come to pass for many,and eyes,and ears will see the truth,as more light penetrates Mother Earth,blessings Saul.
