  it's unfortunate to see buddhism becoming a victim of its own dogma.

   humanity has changed in 2500 years

  quite dramatically.

  And whilst the essence of spiritual practice hasn't changed, the methodology of spiritual practice, like the universe it is practiced in, needs to evolve accordingly.

  What matters is that our practice brings us closer to God.

  Punishing someone for wearing ray bans and using an i pad, in my opinion, takes all involved parties further from God.

  What do you think Buddha would have to say about this?

  Thank you, Feather! I am pretty certain that keeping track of who is and who is not behaving holy enough . . . Is NOT the best way to raise one's frequency . . . That is why one of the Kindest & Best Loved Avatars of Christ Consciousness advised, "let he who is without sin / blemish, cast the first stone".

  Their way of living should be ...SIMPLE LIVING HIGH THINKING not HIGH LIVING HIGH FLYING.
  Real monks live simple and even if they do use gadgets it is for preaching, listening to mantras and reading prayers.
  Those monks who eat meat are actually monkeys not monks
