  There is no judgement on what we do beyond that which we place on ourselves.

  when you fall in love with yourself, every activity you perform is loving.

  so if you have concerns about doing something where love is absent, you have it within yourself to remedy the situation.

  the more you can do within the realms of love, the more liberated you become.

  So rather than deny yourself something that may be of benefit to you because of fear,

  address the fear instead.

  and expand your horizons.

  Facing the fear doesn't mean you have to carry out the activity.

  just that it becomes a viable choice for you.

  and choice is empowerment.

  Remember that the limitations that fear imposes are not restricted to just that activity.

  They are cross contextual.

  "Sex is not any closer to love than eating is!"...even the Egyptians knew sex was divine and would "Ankh" the energy back into themselves during divine intercourse.

  This is very sad...to know a civilization that existed thousands of years ago was so much more advanced than society today.  We are going backwards.

  I work in Film Industry & live in Los Angeles Matt. As you know, the San Fernando Valley is the center-point of the porn universe... & by extension of working on Hollywood films, I have actually met quite a few people in the porn industry. I'm sure many would argue there's not much difference between what is produced by both entities ;-) ... but I digress. Look, no judgement here... the simple fact is, along with many of the shadows in the porn industry, there are also many good hearted people involved with it as well. The same can be said for most of the 'industries' behind the fading veils of duality. But let me put it this way... working on the production end is one thing... but in front of the camera is a very different animal when it comes to porn. It takes a very specific personality to handle it & many who simply can't are left with serious regrets that can never be erased. The other thing that seems questionable about your post is you write: "I would make a lot of cash"? Really? Of course 'a lot of money' is relative to one's experience... but I'll tell you this- male actors simply don't make a lot of cash in porn ($200-$400 a scene)... the females do. The exception being gay porn... which I'm not sure if that's what you're talking about as you wrote "I love the person I'd be doing it with"? Again, no judgement brother... but make no mistake about it, it's a huge decision! That you're even discussing it on this type of forum suggests to me: You simply aren't ready! Typologically it's extraverts & exhibitionists that are most comfortable having sex onscreen & they just don't tend to struggle with the type of questions you've posed. One could argue that by even posting the question you've already answered it yourself ~InLight555

  This is the purpose of the 4 questions.

  they are part of a process known as Cartesian Logic.

  You may notice the questions follow a similar format to that which it would use when plotting points on a graph

  What will gain if you do it,....+ +

  What will you lose if you do.....- +

  What will you gain if you don't do it.....+ -

  What will you lose if you don't do it....- -

  Your mind is split into 4 realms similar to that which you'd find in a Cartesian graph.

  And we all have areas that we prefer to use.

  And areas that we avoid.

  What the questions do is force you to look in all 4 quadrants for answers.

  The above suggestions were a means of opening up some of the quadrants that you may otherwise not normally look in.

  Ultimately it always comes back to love.

  Cartesian logic provides a mean of removing any doubt that surrounds a loving outcome.

  There are two ways to view this for you to seriously consider.

  1.)  When it comes to sexuality, if everyone involved in the end is happy, or if it entails mutual sharing for all involved, then what is wrong?  This is where societies' dogmas make anyone that is not monogamous wrong.  Monogomy is not the only way to live.  What is wrong if you had several sexual partners and they all knew about each other and everyone was happy?  You can relate this example to your topic.

  2.)  Would you be "selling out"?  You mentioned money several times.  Yes, people have to make a living in this world, but would you be giving something away that you can't get back, so to speak.

  My opinion is that if everyone benefits and no one is harmed, why not?

  Look what are you doing, seriously. You know you want to do it...you're making every rationalization for why you should do it...so why don't you just do it lol Why come on here, and ask for permission, or ask for guidance....when you damn well know inside you you want to do it...why go through these explanations, and it's so loving...when you know what you love is sex lol Be decisive...you want to do it, do it...simple as that.
