        Ham, this might be happnin to me.
        I have had a mild 'flu' for about a month, spitting up things and sneezing.
        My taste is changing- fast food is empty, junk food is kind of icky.
        And, if I look at something long enough, it has an aura, very very small, sometimes ultravioletish, sometimes green/yellowish.
        I don't know but maybe.

  Yes..me to..... I have been seeing weird odd things,hearing words in different languages.My life had been crazy for about 8 years,....earlier this year in March April,....I got so tired I had to take 2 months off work,.I did nothing but sleep all day all night,.....but it was like a light slumber,half awake.....half asleep.With vivid memories of unearthly places.It was really strange.I had a friend,.. and family look after me,...I could do nothing myself. I think we need to take the time to accept what is happening to us,....and so go with the flow.There are some really good youtube clips on the side effects of the Ascension process......
  
  I would say you are being told to get ready,......look out because you are ditching much karma,.....the more karma you ditch...the further along you get with your Ascension process.....

  Thanks James, that's an interesting observation you have made. I guess the effect is to push us towards what's important, while the rest falls away. I will need to have a think about how this applies to me...

  When you remove attachments to your former life, when you let go of those things that no longer serve a purpose, when you release that which you desired – you create a space within your heart. What used to be your way of life, your character, personality, what made you who you thought you were – no longer creates a desire within you. You will leave all that you were – like clothes shed upon the path behind you.
  The space creates an aching, longing or emptiness. You feel less than you were because your ego identity feels weakened – like part of a castle has been pulled down leaving you feeling vulnerable. You are breaking down the walls of that which keeps you attached to the earth, to your family, to your friends – your former life, indeed, former lives of endless birth and death. It is hard to let go and say goodbye to all that you know and all that you were. But how else will you reach towards ascension and the higher dimensions without detachment from all that binds you. Know that you are far along the path and the signs you experience are part of the journey. Accept the unknown and trust in spirit.
  
  You are not giving up all that you love, you are shedding your attachments so that you will be free to choose exactly how you want to be. You must release to receive afresh.

    Yep, I definately relate to the indigo thing, but also to the crystal thing. Apparently indigos may transition into crystals, which makes sense in these times. I am indigo in the sense that I rebel against systems and injustice etc, but if I'm treated right I'm all crystal. Part of me is tired of fighting, and I am relieved to see younger, feisty things coming through.

    Thank you Polaris, I think I hear what you're saying and I can relate to it. I definately feel like my ego is detached, which brings with it a sense of vulnerability, because until now my ego has protected me by restricting my behaviour in order to avoid other's judgement and disapproval. Fear of others' reactions to me is now no longer a strong enough disincentive to be who I really am. As strange as it sounds, for many of us, being 'ourselves' presents real risk, as we do not fit into society's norms of acceptability. I get the feeling that many of us are becoming tired of conforming, and are no longer prepared to compromise ourselves in order to be accepted.
