Is evolution a tree or a bush?

The new ager will reply that it is a tree while the contemporary scientist will insist that it is a bush!THE TREETree grows with a definite plan as specified by the GENES in the tree. New agers will still insist that there is somehow some predetermined plan or goal of evolution and yet they can also dismiss God!!! It is CHANCES but chances that will nevertheless culminate in some goal! So they say we were once bacteria, then worms, then trees, then...then man, then...then God!THE BUSHNeedless to say, the contemporary scientist will break his rips laughing at the above new age understanding. They understand evolution as nothing but some thick bush! There is no plan of how a bush grows. According to a biologist, a snake is better evolved than a man in that it can meet its needs better! There is no prediction of how we might be in future such as angels or gods. Rather, we might find ourselves chempanzees!Contemporary science, especially biology sounds nihilistic in nature! We explain why something happened by invorking something that happens AFTER the phenomenon and not BEFORE. Eating is not the reason you have hands but rather the reason why we do see a being now having hands! It is ateleological in nature. We explain why a lion exists by explaining why surbetooth cats extincted!
