  dear Hannah,
   i have similar experience, and i'm beginning to get picked up, i can't handle this anymore.. i'm trying with Wicca's philosophy, witchcraft to arrange something better on a financial level, so that they begin to believe me...you know how the people are, they need a wonder to happen so that they may begin to believe something special is occurring. Am telling to myself hold on only this year more. 'They'-all others, will be afraid when it happens. Wont be happy like we are going to be. Your parents do love you, but like all others they are locked for reality. 

  I wonder why ETs simply don't lend and are not waiting for some presidents to say ok.

  Enough is enough.. Then everybody is going to believe they do exist.

  Hannah, I feel lonely sometimes because of a similar situation with friends/ family.  I learned the hard way that when people are critical and/or not receptive it is because they are not interested hearing such things.  I learned I just have to respect their free will and only bring up topics around them that they accept.  I am sure your family loves you and best way to return that love is only focus on topics of mutual interest when you are around them so they feel comfortable.

  Hannah your parents are oldschool people with a different belief systems/structure than you.  They have different expectations of you than u have of yourself, even though u yourself may not be aware of what these expectations might be.  But it's quite normal for parents to somewhat belittle their adult kids by saying:

  --Dont u think u should be married by now? I need a grandson/granddaughter

  --U wont make it on your own if u move out

  --Get a job!!

  --Go to school and get an education

  --You're crazy!! Come back to 3D reality.

  All these are well know issues that the so called light worker will undoubtedly face..  What people like that, (Yes, especially your parents) dont realize is that u are unique and special soul, if not to them, then to your heavenly parents and that's what u should cherish... "even though it's hard sometimes because u cannot communicate with these exalted light beings as u'd probably like to"

  It sucks that u cannot share or express your ideas with your family or friends about these things without them thinking u are *cough* a lil out there.... But that's quite normal ;\  Spiritual life of a devotee, a boddhisattva, a Lightworker; A Truth seeker in general, is a lonely one!  This is why ppl such as yourself come to sites like these to talk with other like minded ppl!  But u know what's odd Hannah? Even these like minded ppl who claim to be light workers wont know where u are coming from because they too, most likey, dont and will not understand u!  They will tell you things like: LOVE & LIGHT, all is good, be happy and well, but they don't know what that means, because in truth they are miserable themselves and in the same boat as u are.

  Unfortunately no one can tell u what to do.. but if they do tell u, u probably won't listen because deep down inside u already know what the right thing is!

    Hey Darlock, Your a grounded person, and yeah you are right, parents aren't always going to understand what we are going through, and they wouldn't be called parents if they didn't tell you things like get a job, when are going to be married exct. It's there job, and they are doing there job well. 

    Just like you had said, people come to these sites to meet up with like minded people, and sometimes they aren't always looking for what they need on sites either. 

    Hannah keep in mind, that your family loves you, and wants the best for you, even if it doesn't feel like it, and also remember that when everything else fails around you, your family will always be there. Even your mother right now will be 

    People in general Hannah, are out for themselves, and if they tell you otherwise, you will learn later, that it was just all talk. Keep your spirits up, and start making a goal list for yourself

    Start thinking about the things you want to do, and how you want to get out of the home you are living in. You know something, when you get out of the home, you will find later on, that you will have a better relationship with your parents.

    Life starts, when we get out of the home we grew up in 

    Things will get better for you

      Thanks April.. and it's not that they dont understand.. It's that they dont want to understand because they do not want to alter their own beliefs because that might change them! and they dont want to change!.    So in short, they want nothing to hear about your ridiculous thoughts/ideas on spirituality because God forbid, it might rub off on them!!  and that's what they fear most.

      Anyway.. As for the Love part.. Most parents do love their kids and want the best for them.. However alot of family members *especially those on the path of enlightenment* do not have that Karmic attachments to the members of their household.. and I think that is a godsend!   that's not to say that they wont be there for u.. But they most likely will :0 But..

      Jesus best describes this in the 2 verses below.. Even though ppl here will jump into conclusions and claim he never said that because they wont understand the meaning behind his words:

      Luke 14:26 "If anyone comes to me and does not hate his father and mother, his wife and children, his brothers and sisters--yes, even his own life--he cannot be my disciple.

      Matthew 10:37 Anyone who loves his father or mother more than me is not worthy of me; anyone who loves his son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me

      So yeah.. ppl are out for themself for the most part.. In truth there is only one person u should put your trust in.. NO! not yourself, because humans are unstable and unpredictable beings, but the unchanging good GOD! And he/she/it  is not really a person :)

  Just stay true to you....if people don't get you...well they're living in an illusion, not you. I mean you know who you are...right? So just stay true to that, and accept it. We all know that they're there lol The ETs I mean. If some people don't believe it, and think it's crazy, well I mean...who cares lol It's sad when it's your mother or your parents or loved ones, but so be it.

  Detach yourself a bit from them. That's why it's good to be a lone wolf sometimes lol A healthy detachment is important. You're a grown woman, you decide what you want to believe in, and if people don't accept it...well...that's just tough for them. Don't let it bug you.

  Or if you really don't want the hassle, just don't tell them about it lol Or be objective, and say, well I think...or it could be, I don't know, but I tend to believe...things like that. But yea, I guess the main point is.....stay true to you.

    Thank you so much for this and words aren't always everything you have gone way above words like many others who have replied on here and gave though into it and took your time to send good things to me and other's and i send lots of love back , hope if you're ever in need i may be able to return the favour in some way, and that goes for everyone on here. x

  Hi Hannah, I'm diagnosed with schizophrenia-psychosis, stress-induced.  I manage it with minimal medication use and natural products including Goji juice and omega 3/fish oil capsules.  I've found hospital and medication for 1 or more weeks sometimes necessary when I'm really unbalanced and I don't talk to my family about my beliefs - makes things a lot easier.  The Light has ok plans for them according to their beliefs etc anyway so I don't need to worry much abt them for the moment anyway.  I also think toxins such as mercury amalgam fillings, fluoride in the water and other things in processed food contribute to my becoming unbalanced.  I'll try & work out how to add you as a friend, or you're welcome to also.  Feel free to message me anytime, cheers  :)

    i have often though that myself about mercury amalgam fillings i had some many years ago, i want them out but they say its not possible. I've been under psychiatric treatment for at least nearly 6 years now. but they never diagnose me with anything apart from psychosis because they said i was too complex. my nurse now keeps trying to push for a diagnosis's but i keep telling her i don't need one i do not wish to be label to something which i don't think they understand. and as i say i've so full of love and positivity most of the time what's the problem.

    i'm trying to become vegan at the moment as i feel i should. and i also want to. i hate adding to cause pain and suffering to animals just for my benefit its so wrong. but not doing so well as i get shouted out and put down for trying. i could be stronger tho about it.
