  thank you very much for speaking out brutally honest REAL TRUTH, amidst all the delusional people here. I'm glad that there is/are STILL some people who are STILL using their "God-given" (or "Universe-given" ,..whatever..) common-sense, logic, rational, brain, as well as being very TRUTHFULLY HONEST with themselves (instead of constantly lying to themselves with all the false promises & false hopes!).

  Hi Luke, my friend....

  Yes, a good question, as I too have always found that symbol most baffling, albeit interesting as a logo for the McGoohan "village," set in the series "Prisoner."

   

  Apparently though, McGoohan himself did come up with an explanation, which I've just found in a research...And if anyone should understand that symbol, it would be him.... ;-)

   

  What Does the Pennyfarthing Bicycle Represent?

  The answer to this one was given by Patrick McGoohan himself (thank goodness, because this one would've been very difficult to propose a solution to, otherwise!) In the Troyer Interview, McGoohan describes the bicycle as an ‘ironic symbol of progress.’ To put it colloquially: The bicycle represents something of the industrial age (beyond the Horse-and-Buggy Era). Beginning with the industrial age, McGoohan muses that we've been technologically progressing far faster than we've been learning how to cope with our new inventions. Thus, the pennyfarthing bicycle is the icon of the Village, an Aldous Huxley “Brave New World” notion that society has become too mechanized. This aspect of the Village is evident in practically all the episodes, but is more noticeable in “The General,” “Free For All,” and “A Change of Mind.”

    anybody can come up with such 'fitting-in' rationalizations & interpretations.

    one symbol can be interpreted in MANY ways, usually just according to each person's own whim/personal motivation/goal/target.
    of course that is if you are still smart & critical enough to be able to discern & acknowledge this simple fact of matter, instead of rationalizing-away your delusions & fantasy made-up 'theories'.

      Well niki I take it that your reply to me was supposed to possess some relevance to what I had said to Luke...?? BUT, frankly, you have totally misunderstood what we were discussing, as it was not a case of "rationalising delusions," etc, but a case of understanding the writer and producer's intent surrounding a FICTIONAL TV SERIES symbol....A TV series only, not a conspiracy theory about something you seem eager to attack....

      So no, you are not forbidden to speak honestly, but a little thought, on your part, would have gone a long way in lending your misplaced comment some legitimacy...

  It is a shame that you are "convinced," that " nothing happens," yet in truth much of a positive nature is actually happening, that you are obviously not yet aware of......
  
  You need not take my word for that, as I'm not permitted to offer photographic proof....BUT, it is true, nevertheless and sometimes, we may ask others to maintain their faith in the process of unfoldment of the Divine Plan.....
  The poverty and bankruptcies you are observing are the results of the current failings in the present system, which is desperately in need of change....Indeed, it is to be replaced, as unfit for purpose...The actual rot set in in 1971, when they dumped the gold standard in the USA..It has been on a decline ever since....
  
  Please observe the fact that things are in flux and being challenged....You do not need to believe in the GFL, if you prefer not to, BUT observe the fall of the current paradign, nevertheless....
  When it has fallen, you will know and then, you may realise that we have spoken truth, all along....We can then offer you a helping hand, at the moment of your choosing.....Humanity is moving beyond the system itself....Somewhat like a situation in which the pupils of a school are growing to adulthood and question the need for further training in that school and instead seek a university placement....leading to gainful employment.

    for me and 'important that aid is the most' poor across the Earth everywhere, disappointments are many are too many (21/12/2012, ascension, photon belt, free energies, landing ET, NESARA !!!,) then I add that many of my friends have died and many of my friends, the political framework in Italy and 'bad, missing work and we are invaded by illegal criminals every day here 'steal the homes and take them even if they are released after two days and return to steal the homes, there is little to be happy, there is little hope remained good - thanks a lot but this is 'the truth' hello hello friend

  ~The notion that 'nothing happens' is a luxury of the uninspired... one of the first cup-de-sacs of the Rabbit Hole; specifically designed to ensnare the 'egoic-self' in the illusion of duality, & to perpetuate the mental shackles of the old paradigm. The deeper 'reality' is that there is more 'happening' that any individual will, or can, truly perceive. As we edge ever closer to our natural state of Unity-Consciousness, that's what makes these times so exciting. Granted, it's not for the faint of Heart... but at the same time, what a shame to miss the opportunity to take part in such a grand experiment, by clinging to the fear based Archontic implant: We're doomed!
