       I have had relationships that are hard to forget and others that I wish didn't end the way they did.  I find it hard to trust other's and so it's very hard to find someone who is willing to be the type of person I would be looking for.  One in particular is very hard to talk about.  We seemed to be very attracted to each other, but outside people and events got in the way, and there wasn't much I could do.  I tried very hard to keep the relationship intact, but she didn't try hard enough, in fact, in the end it seemed she was too selfish and egotistical to make an effort to stay together.  It's easier to have a relationship when there aren't so many things going on, but then you don't have the joy of overcoming obstacles together.  I haven't since met but one or two people who I was so attracted to as her.  

       One in particular involved an extremely unusual period of synchronicities that I don't have time to go into.  Suffice it to say they were totally and unbelievably out of the ordinary.  We had the same initials, read the same authors (few girls read Tolkien & Lewis), the way we met was a coincidence, we had the same interests, the list goes on.  This relationship was too good to be true, and it was difficult for me to picture myself with someone like her.  She was the only child of a wealthy businessman from DC (most or all of my close friends growing up were "only" children).  Also another odd coincidence - her voice was the same as two other girls I'd known previously who'd I'd been terribly attracted to - for me this was a big sign.  For instance, I wouldn't even be thinkiing about her, and I'd be driving in my car and see her name - Dana - on a truck or sign right out of the blue.  This happened for a very long period of time, I'm still attempting to figure this out.  It was just too good to be true, and I wonder how it would've worked out, who knows?  It was of course extremely distressing and sad to have the relationship end.   I also had a dream at the time of walking down a street holding hands with someone, it looked like a street in DC, I remember the streetlamps and sidewalk.  Years later, I was watching a movie called "Dave" and one of the scenes was filmed on the street I had seen in my dream.(the movie was filmed in DC).   I'm still wondering what that was about.  It's something I had actually forgot about until now, believe it or not.  Possibly it reflected not the importance of our potential relationship, but more about other people's importance as well, this is what I got out of it.  In some ways, it seems that relationships you have may actually be about other people more than yourselves, if that makes sense.

  Emmy, it's wonderful that you were compelled to go within.  No matter what you two are still connected at heart, as is everyone.

  This is an excerpt from a channeling. In the interests of discussion unity, the name of the channeler and channeling will remain unsaid. So please, don't ask. I introduce it because I believe it is pertinent to the discussion.

  Suffice it to say it confirmed what I had come to believe was happening in the last 12 months of my life. To the point where I began to accurately predict out of character behaviours of friends. When i recognized the pattern, I just laughed. When I read this, I rolled on the floor and laughed my fucking arse off, In a positive way.

  The tests and challenges you will receive here within the higher realms are real, let us say, tests and challenges of your capabilities and your resolve, your drive and determination, your willpower and fortitude and your cleverness and your abilities to calculate and to derive suitable solutions and plans of strategy. We say to you here is real and there is illusion, for again, you are living more a dream, more a play, and a play is more accurate a description certainly, for you have a stage that was prepared for you by stagehands, you have friends and family and foes who are more or less acting, for many of the things that they say and do have been scripted by you, with our assistance, and we are certainly holding up the cue cards for them, and this is what we feel is a very appropriate way for you to picture this.
  
  Picture your friends speaking to you and picture us behind the scenes holding up a cue card for them to read. Yes, now you are getting the picture here. We are behind the cameras. We are holding up cue cards. We are shining lights upon you. We are ‘filming’ what you are doing you may even say, although do not feel we are secretly recording you because this is not true. What we mean is your life is being captured some way into history, for it is, for everything that all of you are doing here is important, nothing you are doing here is not. Look at it that way, and in this light you can understand why so much of what you are doing and saying and even thinking in certain cases. Not all and not many, but a few of you are connected in a way to a collective consciousness, so your thoughts are our thoughts.
  
  Do you understand this principle? We can explain it to you by saying that we are all connected, all of us, throughout this entire universe. There are many of you who are not yet ready to join a stream or a collective of consciousness, a consciousness structure, of more than one being. Let us suppose that you become ready to connect to this consciousness. What it is you suppose you will experience? Well, we say you will experience thoughts that come through your mind that are not a product of your imagination or your thought processes, your thoughts, or nothing that you are reading or have just recently read or something you are watching on television or something you have heard a friend say or is saying, no. A completely random and what you may see as abstract thought quickly flashes through your mind.
  
  Why is this so? This is so because we are thinking this and your mind, your consciousness is now one with ours so what we think you may think. Please do not get the wrong impression here that you are being ‘mind controlled’, and we wish to explain to you all that there is no such thing as mind control, in that sense of the word anyway. What you have on your planet is something that we refer to as the influencing of your minds, which is really a completely different thing.

  Definitely. Especially in the last year or so. I had a "best friend" for 16 years who just one day stopped talking to me in May. I still don't know why, but I also knew we were on very different paths for a long time and it was for the best. 

  It was shocking to some extent to see the things I saw coming from that person after the fact. She was never a true friend to begin with, just full of pretty words and fake smiles. I think that was the only thing that was a bit difficult for me, knowing that she was the ONLY person I considered a friend when she was telling everyone they were her best friends. Learned a lot from it though :)

  Oh yea. There's one that sticks out for me, a girl named Hiba.....I dated her for a few months....she was a muslim and she never did anything with any guy, she never even was kissed. It took alot of work to even get that first kiss lol Well, to spare some details, over time it escalated into full blown making out, and one day...it went to home plate so to speak. I remember we were having sex, and she really went crazy....like wild...and when she had her orgasm, she jumped off of me, and ran away. I followed her and asked her what happened, she didn't want to answer. I had to really pry it out of her, and she basically said she was so ashamed of herself, and how she was going against her religion, and her parents....and she said she had to leave and go home. I said okay, we'll talk tomorrow then.

  Well we did talk tomorrow....the next day, she sent me an email saying she couldn't see me anymore, she was cutting off her internet...and our relationship was over, basically. Just like that. And man, that was a stab in the heart, I really liked this girl...and just 2 days before, she said how she wanted to marry me. Now all of sudden, she's completely out of my life. That really hurt...it took a good month or two before I started really getting over it. It was almost 2 years before we talked again, and consequently, she turned into a real slut during that time lol We even made plans to get together again, and give it another romp. But, it never materialized...she kept saying she just wasn't ready to see me again....whatever that meant xD

  What did it teach me? Fear is a killer lol It taught me how to overcome loss...it taught me acceptance...more than anything though, what I took from it was, if two people really care about each other....nothing should get in between that. Not some religious creed, or fear based thinking....not beliefs, or opinions....not distance or time or language or race or anything like that. Love transcends all divisions. And...I guess Hiba just didn't love me.....but what are you gonna do lol
