hey all,
i am a former software engineer turned indie prog rocker turning sci-fi author... i am based in the beautiful province of Quebec...
i began studying and practicing Buddhism in the mid-nineties, and immediately felt a connection with the philosophy... most of my efforts are aimed at sharing the knowledge i am acquiring along my journey, via various artistic media including music and poetry, and writing...
i used to be a member of this network, sometime around the beginning of 2009 i think, before it underwent the transition to its current form... now i'm looking forward to re-discovering the Ashtar Command and crew members...
i intend to publish the chapters of my first novel here... so if you're into spiritually inspired sci-fi, then you're most welcome to follow my blog...

Hi Chris, Welcome. is it Zen Buddhism or Tibetan? I like the Tibetan myself. :) do a lot of healing work right now with the chants. Your novel sounds awesome, cant wait to take a look! again, welcome.

Buddhism : it evolved from the Dhammapada and the Tibetan Book of the Dead to the Mahayana Sutras... so i guess it is somewhere midway between Zen and Tibetan... by the way, i run a Ning site for Tibet... we do a monthly ritual to support the Tibetan people in their plight... am i allowed to invite you or is it against this site's policies ?
