The 1948 'triumph' was hailed by Christians as the beginning of the fullfilment of the prophesy. However, as long as Israel does not include Syria, the 1948 invasion does not even remortly look like the fullfilment of the biblical prophesy. MICHAEL: the people that have run Israel since 1947 are descendants of eastern European and western Asian Kazar tribes that have no ancestry from the Middle East or any direct direct genetic lineage to that region whatsover. Hence, the people running Israel are (for the most part) technically converts to Judaism who moved to the Middle East after WWII. This may explain for the skin issues that many fair skin Israelis have, especially melanoma.
I seriously doubt that Israel will ever represent a nation of peace due to it's zionist mission of the people that run this country; Prime Minister Rabin found that one out really quick . In short, I seriously doubt that the current zionist plan of expansion has any benefit for anyone except those who are part of the zionist plan for expansion and population reduction, and of which is not very different compared to actions of Hitler and Pol Pot.
