food chain

All our food we buy is poor if you eat meat the chances are the animals have been fed thier own kind and it also contains growth hormone and antibiotics. Fruit and veg travels the world and is not fresh it to is sprayed with growth hormone, how can it be good for us. The ground has no nutrients in it it is depleted so that not much good for our health and well being. The more sick we are the more money the drug companys make, if the farmers never used another grain of granulated fertilizer it would not matter there is enough in the soil for 200 years and don't forget how often it gets sprayed for everything, but if farmers don't farm the way they are told to they can't sell the crops, it's disgusting.

Avoid aspartame which kills off the brain cells flouride is bad and MSG, all designed to make us senile later in life, even potatoes have a moth gene , its crazy. Try and grow some of your own food even if only in pots and bags you really will notice the difference.

How dare the powers that be do this to the masses and assume it will go unnoticed, well lets hope thier days are numbered and we are soon free of them and between us we can clear up this mess on our Mother.

i agree with you...but be sure that as long as we do not do nothing about it.... nothing is gonna change...and not only that, but things will get worse also....Things do not change by themselves, and by wishful thinking and prayers only...Action is what it needs.... and the best action for me is not to fight the system....but to just stop supporting it, as much as we can, and in whatever ways we can...

  I completely agree which is why we should all try and grow a bit of our own produce, I keep hens and if they are not laying well in the winter I refuse to buy eggs so as not to support the battery hen trade, one exception is the happy egg company.

    Nice thoughts but the reality is diff. I know about a test they made in Belgium on fruits and vegetables that were grown in peoples back yards and they were even more toxic than the stuff you buy in the stores. Most of these back yards are to poluted in the soil. And al the dirt that flies around from cars and trucks shure do not help mutch neither.

      I know what you mean my friend is always banging on about organic stuff, but it is all watered by the same rain and lives in the same polluted atmosphere, with all the good intentions in the world we will all have to put in more effort to change it for the better

        everytime i read about the truth behind our foodstuffs, it makes me want to starve myself out! :0/ i live in an uber~urban area, & the best i can get is very high~priced so~called "organic" fruits/veggies/ farmers market stuff~ which of course, is tons better than the corporate grocery store GMO toxic~stuff! Cedric's right though about polluted ground soil/ rain etc.
        
        but, i suppose the best we can do is TRY to make little changes in our personal diets here & there. so, thank you very much for the info. & suggestions! i agree that we can "grow our own" herbs/ certain foods, if only in our homes on our window sills! optimism makes good fertilizer too, eh? ~every lil bit helps!~

        when we are in charge and not the pratts that are running things now we will have clean water,air soil, and I know we can't avoid everything that is bad for us , and we can't sit in our house and hope it gets better we have to make it happen, PEOPLE POWER THATS WHAT WE NEED.
