The only substance I would truely recommend everybody for cleaning and desinfecting your flat or house is: Hydrogen Peroxide!
It can heal almost every infection based illness, too. And it even can destroy tumors very effectively! I'm using it regularly and know from experience that it is very reliable and has few side effects.
