I went to ALDI food store in Muncie, IN and seen a sign on the door saying they cannot process EBT food stamp cards. When i was checking out I asked the cashier and she said this is happening in all grocery stores. I also found out it is happening in 26 other states. Anybody know anything about this?

Its hard for me to imagine clicking on the like button for something.That alot of people depend on including me way back in the past but not at present.I haven't heard any latest news on my front in Chicago about the food stamp situation.However from what I can read from your words it doesn't sound good at all.I'am wondering if this ties in with the Super storm Sandy blackouts lately?I would also like to take this opportunaty to say,"Working for your food stamps is a bad idea!"Even though the program is running for a while.If someone is starving and in need of food.Why co-create a ridiculous ritual that prevents him from being fed in the first place.
There is another twist to ponder from my view point. Perhaps this is a deliberation of Light forcing the government to give free food to the EBT customers that are in dire need. If a EBT came to a cash register and all their groceries had been rang up and the system failed, they would be forced to give this for free because it would be due to technical error on the grocery stores faults and not the customers.................I see a bigger picture going on here than what many perceive.
I was in Walmart this afternoon in Macon, Georgia...USA to get a prescription filled and this message about the EBT being down was announced throughout the store.
Yes, The government WANTS you dependent on them. When they close down the food - WHO KNOWS WHAT????
maybe the fed is shutting down these programs for states which are asking for independance from the union..............?
