A few months ago I was at the darkest place I've been, surgeries, conflicts and confrontations, no money (I lost 10 pounds because I didn't have enough money to buy a meal some days) too much work from my career and internship, too much stress, not enough sleep, the beloved shelter which had been my house for the 22 years of my life was sold over night.
I asked God for a way out, at a certain point I almost took a way out, I'm glad I didn't.
Less than a month ago I got a call from a relative in the USA, there was a job offer, sufficient to say that it will bring abundance and stability to my life (Don't worry it's legal lol!) I had always wanted to live there, I was born in the US but been living in Mexico all my life, I visited relatives often and the contrast of the way of life we have is very evident.
I'm really excited because I will finally have a chance to start over and build a life in the place I want, you cannot believe how ridiculously happy I am right now, I got the job, and I'm starting to pack my suitcases.
Know this, no matter how dark times might get, there will always be a way out, and be glad, because it transforms you into a strong person, into the kind of person you would admire.
