Thanks alot. I think that name, scrying, is appropriate. I too at many a times stare at objects for very long unwittingly without intending to find images. I also find myself staring for so long when I am trying to understand light, matter, consciousness, god, life etc. I do get inspirations, some of which I am not able to describe.
You had adviced me to see spaces in between objects so I may find the dancing, starlike sparks. Though I had been seeing them as it were from sky, they had never seemed real like it did when I stared at it for long after you told me. Indead the 'sparks' begin to move as if they exist up there outside the eyes.
But to see 'space btwn objects other than objects themselves' is a tricky because infact we cannot see 'space'. I tried to find this space to see but I just merely go from object only to another one in the background. That is why I decided to look at the sty in a cloudy day amusing myself that I am now seeing 'space btwn objects' but of course that is not so couse clouds are still objects.
But I am interested with the objective reality of whatever I might see and not the mere apearance that it is so.
I see them easiest with a blue sky background and the you shit the focus near and far...the sparks will be near....and they seem to dance or swim in the space near me....
I´ve never done this, but my guess is that the crystal ball works like a screen that the 3rd eye projects on to..I suppose one could close their eyes and get the same result. One thing...quartz crystal is very grounding and the better we are grounded and connected to the earth, the better the 3rd eye works. Gazing into a bowl of water is good also.. Learning to focus on the spaces inbetween objects rather than the objects should have similar results.
