Its a cold 40F here in Florida and thats a huge dramatic change since its like in the 70s and 80s. It causes everyone to get sick so quickly and kills many tropical plants. Not to mention all of my garden snails are dead due to the cold nights and I am now growing all of my bean plants inside. It seems this year is a much cooler year and Florida will experience a different climate change. One day its 80F and the next its 40F its crazy.

Hehe, well its a little bit "the other way around" where I live.
In Denmark it would usually be winter now, with maybe 10-15 degrees Celcius below zero (which I believe is something like 5-10 degrees Fahrenheit), but it is not...
We are having a wonderful autumn, hmm or spring if U like, atleast the plants seems to think so. Warm sun from a clear blue sky and temperatures around 10 degrees C (50 F), so we are off like 20 degree C (40 F) so to all of U in Florida and Miami..... Thank U so much for lending us some of your winter heat ;-)
Hi Sarah, I live in Port Charlotte Florida and I know exactly what you are talking about....I lost two of my backyard shrubs from the cold and had to bring in all my hanging tomatoes I was growing on the lanai. I have actually had to turn on heat these last few mornings.....waaaaaaa. Mother earth's weather is doing some pretty cagey stuff. Still glad I live in Florida though and glad that I saved some of my Maine clothes, right now I have on sweat pants, socks, sneakers and a warm sweater and a warm jacket too and that is in the house.. A friend of mine lives in Juno Alaska and they have 15 feet of snow they are trying to unbury themselves from, so I guess I am ok with the 30-40 degree weather over all. And I still have a short pair of boots here, but hope I don't have to use them, lol.
it sure it is crazy weather. Here in northern cali by now it would rain for 40~50 days in a row and 20 inches but so far nothing. Not a drop from the sky. We are worried here..................
