NEW YORK (CNNMoney, June 18, 2013 11:07 ET)

President Obama hinted Monday that he will not reappoint Ben Bernanke to a third term as Federal Reserve chairman.

"He's already stayed a lot longer than he wanted, or he was supposed to," said Barack Obama in an interview with Charlie Rose, after the PBS host asked the president whether he planned to reappoint Bernanke after his term expires on Jan. 31, 2014.

Obama did not answer directly when asked if he would reappoint Bernanke if the Fed chairman requested another term.

"He has been an outstanding partner along with the White House in helping us recover much stronger than, for example, our European partners from what could have been an economic crisis of epic proportions," Obama said.

Bernanke is scheduled to speak at a news conference Wednesday after the Fed completes a two-day policy meeting of the central bank. He is expected to discuss plans for the bank's bond-buying program.

Bernanke has overseen the central bank's extraordinary response to the global financial collapse that began in earnest in fall 2007, keeping interest rates at historic lows and shepherding a massive Fed intervention in the government bond market.

The fed funds rate, the Fed's key benchmark rate used to set the price of a variety of business and personal loans, stood at 4.5% when Bernanke took office, and rose as high as 5.25% that year. But the Fed started to cut rates in September of 2007 as the economy weakened. The Fed took rates down to nearly 0% in December, 2008. They remain in that range, between 0% and 0.25%.

First appointed by President George W. Bush, Bernanke started as Fed chairman in February 2006. Obama kept him for a second term that started in 2010.

His predecessor, Alan Greenspan, had the second-longest tenure of any Fed chairman, serving more than 18 years under four presidents. The average time for a chairman to serve is seven years, with half of them serving one term or less.

Please look for the bolded and underlined portions below. Also note that I did this report in Austin, Texas. The time specified in this Ashtar report is per Greenwich Mean Time (GMT), and that places my release of my basic astrology prediction (per Ashtar) in the United States as of 9:18 AM EST (or 8:18 AM CST), almost two hours before CNN gave this report per info from the U.S. President.

Summer Solstice 2013: Basic Astrology Summer Prediction  And Star-Placement  Analysis/Prediction

Recognition of the importance of the Sun entering solstice and equinox  positions (that correspond with the beginnings of the four seasons) is many  thousands of years old. Stonehenge is known to be built in a way to correspond  to the Sun entering these four "world points." But then so are many other  similar ancient monuments. A technique for prediction of events of the  pending season (fall, winter, spring, summer) may be derived from use of Sun  entering these world points. These points include zero degrees Aries  (spring equinox), zero degrees Libra (fall equinox), zero degrees Capricorn  (winter solstice) and zero degrees Cancer (Summer Solstice).

The chart for Summer Solstice 2013 is below, for June 21 at 1:10 AM (at the  Washington Monument). I like this chart because it is close to the center of the  east coast of the United States, and shortly after midnight.

8110591080?profile=originalPluto is in the "house of career and standing before others,"  and can represent banking or intelligence gathering/implementation. Pluto is the  analyst and researcher at best, and the gangster or backstabber at  worst. The placement of Pluto in the tenth house usually represents involvement  of important people in government, banking, finance, and intelligence  gathering.

Uranus is in the first house, which usually represents "the general situation  itself." Uranus is technology, shocking events, weapons, science, protesters (or  uncooperative civilians), and explosions. It can represent genius at best, or  insanity at worst. Uranus does rule nuclear matters and space exploration, and  it can take on many meanings at once. I notice that angry citizens are one  common theme with Uranus, but then so is technology (or "citizens angry over  certain technologies.")

The weak square (90 degree angle) between Uranus and Pluto may define a  conflict or debate concerning the power of Plutonian functions (i.e. government,  banking, financial, intelligence-related) or rights of liberty.  Conflicts or problems with technology is a real possibility,  and I'm convinced the Snowden Whistleblower Scandal (i.e. NSA eavesdropping  scandal) is definitly related to the Uranus square Pluto transit going on at the  present time.

  • I probably do need to improve my "feel for the energies," but then I would risk going into a scientific approach (and astrology aint a science). A similar way of saying this would be by defining colors seen via clairvoyance in terms of black and white basic definitions and assigning such basic definitions to the color seen, and the color may actually represent something different.

  • Thanks. This stuff is a craft, and not a science. Astrology defines possibilities, not certainties. Check out my 6/20/13 discussion on Ashtar per my Uranian astrology prediction getting nailed (at least the first midpoint formula).
