  if the WWW does shut down   the media would be all over it,   and we still have telecomunications.   cell phones would still work.   If the null zone hits   and global communications go down..   well so be it.

  We will use other means of communication in such a highly unlikely case, like Citizens Band radio, wich can not be shut down on a global scale! (see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Citizens_Band_radio)
