  Yea, I know that, but I was thinking of the use in context of rock/heavy music. And KISS was out there before Dio, but it really doesn't matter. But it is funny how it has gone from being a "protection" from evil to be a sign of evil he hehe he....quite a feat :) But then again, nothing surprises me

  \m/ I use this sign when I'm on Metal gigs and parties :D
  I heard this sign was used by some like a defense from negative energies and entities. I don't care what it was, now that sign is used by almost all metalheads. Tnx Fernny! Metal on! \m/

    According to Gene Simmons from KISS, he said that he was the one who started the horn-handsign. And according to him it was because, as a comicbook nut, he was emulating one of his heroes, spiderman who use a similar handthingy when he shoots out his web, and still according to the same man, everyone started using that handsign in concerts etc etc.
    
    This can be proven wrong if you find any rock or other music acts where that handsign was used prior to 1972-74
    So I am not claiming anything, just reporting what I have read, and I think the story is in his book "Kiss and tell"

  Obama is a 33rd degree mason; highly likely that this is a masonic symbol of some sort. Positioning your hand like that is something that takes practice, as new neural pathways have to be formed if you're not used to it. It would say it is unlikely this happened by accident.

    Hi Mischa. I am not sure whos hand salute you are referring to. I hate it how the comments just kind of land anywhere and then you are not sure what goes with what (what is up with that anyway....). If you are talking about Spocks split in the middle hand salute, you are right about it taking practice...when star trek was on many years ago I used to spend hours trying to get my fingers on both hands to split in the middle like that......( which indicates a girl with wayyy too much time on her hands, hahah). If you are talking about any of the others, they are satan related signs...as my previous comments showed. Of course masons are connected back to satanist ties anyway.....not insulting Obama but just read a lot of history.

      O_o ............Fair comment, but the thread topic is "michelle obama hand signal" - you would have to assume I was talking about that? The unfolding threads and replies can be difficult to navigate through; I will try and be clearer in future.

        If I had thought it through I would have realized you meant about Michele..so it was me getting lost in the unfolding, so often things just kind of zig this way or that and off topic often. I guess thinking back to the original post about Michele, I have to say that the way she has HER hand was difficult for me too.....I just managed it though.
