Lets agree that indeed Hubble discovered correctly that the further away a star is, the faster it moves away from us. Does this mean that the faster away the star moves from us, then the further away it is? Insisting that is an example of the fallacy of affirming the consequent. Yet the astronomers comfortably use red shift to map the universe, including mapping the origins of gamma ray burts at immense distances away from earth!
