One advanced astrology aspect I was always curious about was Buddha's horoscope and applications of Uranian astrology with my selection of Buddah's horoscope. There is something special when you select a horoscope chart for someone whose date of birth is very speculative. And this makes the challenge to find the horoscope of Buddah a big challenge; there are many, many differences among MANY experts regarding the history of Nepal and what year Buddha was born.

The Asian lunar-solar calendar calls for celebration of the birth of Buddha at a special time relative to the lunar position and  not the actual calendar day of the Full Moon birth (which would be May 21st per solar return, regardless of the lunar position). But note that the Buddha death chart is 13 days before this May 21st 80th solar return, yet he was considered to be 80 when he died. This requires some explanation.

Buddha's birthday is celebrated via the first Full Moon after the month of Vaisakha (AND NOTE THE HINDU LUNAR-SOLAR CALENDAR SPECIFIES THAT VAISAKHA IS CELEBRATED IN MID APRIL). Hence, the Full Moon of May is what is technically observed as the birth of Buddah, and probably the first Full moon of May if more than one Full Moon takes place in May.  Hence Buddha's 80th birthday took place according to the date of the 1st Full Moon in May, and not the position of his natal Sun.

This still allows a change in my Buddha Time of Death chart. Note that a new change with the death chart is from May 8th to May 7th (of year 484 B.C.). Please also note that the Moon is still in a Full Moon phase (with Sun in Taurus and Moon in early Scorpio). Also note that this type of Full Moon is in it's 80th cycle relative to the month of Vaisaka (but again, note that this is now 14 days away from Buddha's 80th year solar return on May 21st of that month. Interestingly, a  New Moon takes place on May 22 during my Buddha Time of Death chart during the month of May 0484 B.C.)

Hence, Buddha died during the 80th cycle of the first Full Moon after the month of Vaisakha, and sometime during the time frame of May 7th through May 8th (and this is because the Moon is in the sign of Scorpio during this time frame). A Scorpio Moon can define "transformation or crisis involving food;" and yes, it can also mean "transformation or crisis involving the mother-figure." From a more positive angle, a Scorpio Moon can also define "involvement with secrets" and "involvement with research or investigation."

Planet Placements For 90 Degree Uranian Dial

The Natal Sun Position

The Natal Sun position from the birth chart features very important midpoints relative to the hypothetical Uranian planet Poseidon, which represents "the carrier of light" (and yes, Poseidon can also define "propaganda, the media on television, enlightenment, television"). Poseidon is found in many formulas involving "enlightenment" and "propaganda."

8111000058?profile=original

I interpret the midpoint tree of the Buddha's natal Sun position below with this interpretation:

"The entity will be involved with communication about higher knowledge based on important ideas and beliefs . There will be an improvement in reputation due to higher level knowledge and beliefs that may be enlightening or reveal 'light of some kind.' This knowledge will be communicated by the entity in the environment with congregations or groups of a possible religious type or belief."

Enlightenment of Buddha (no changes in chart from previous chart posted)

8110999069?profile=original

The Full Moon in this chart takes place during May 22 to May 24 with the Moon in Scorpio placement (and after his 35th Solar Return). The midpoint formula "brightest light" or "enlightenment" in Uranian astrology is Poseidon/Kronos, and the placement of Poseidon/Kronos is within 1 degree of 0 degree Aries ("world events; events having an impact on the world").

8110999685?profile=original

8110999660?profile=original

My interpretation for the Poseidon/Kronos midpoint tree above during the Enlightenment of Buddha is as follows:

"Enlightenment or important knowledge takes place based on important ideas or beliefs. This knowledge will concern an exclusive organization or group who uses the land in some way with restrictions. This knowledge will have an impact on the world due to general and creative leadership."

Enlightenment of Buddha with "The Morning Star" - Venus

8110999890?profile=original

A focus on the Venus position during Buddha's enlightenment reveals Venus ("relationships with others, art") equal to MC/Uranus ("surprising changes in one's reputation") and also Mercury/Jupiter ("good news, proper or fortunate communications, communication involving philosophy or the law"). This can be defined as:

"Involvement with certain relationships with others will have a surprising change with one's reputation, along with good news and good communications."

8110999865?profile=original

Buddha's Time of Death Chart (changed to May 7th)

8110999488?profile=original

The natal birth chart position of Sun/Pluto ("crisis or transformation involving the entity or the health of the entity; an important transformation of the outward expression of the entity") is equal to the death chart midpoint for the traditional Uranian astrology definition of "poison" (Neptune/Admetos), and we also have two more midpoints equal to "poison."

This poison midpoint is also equal to Mercury/Hades and Pluto/Poseidon, and is part of a cluster of midpoints that may define "sad news about a poison and a transformation or crisis concerning enlightenment or important ideas and beliefs."

8110999281?profile=original

Let's look at the traditional Uranian astrology formula for "one's death" (Mars + Saturn - Midheaven) taken from the Buddha's natal birth chart and placed on the 80 lunar-solar years Buddha death chart:

8110999462?profile=original

What is significant with this is that this birth chart "formula of death" is equal to death chart Ascendant/Vulcanus ("great power in the environment; to experience power from the environment") AND the death chart Moon in Scorpio ("transformation or crisis involving food") due to a 22.5 degree angle aspect that defines equality (per 1/2 of 45 degrees) with both the "death formula" of Mars/Saturn and the "power in the environment" defined Ascendant/Vulcanus midpoint formula.

8110999256?profile=original

The Natal Birth Chart Sun Position on the Death Chart

8110998883?profile=original

This may prove I have the right chart. The "entity itself; health of the entity" definitions of the natal birth chart Sun have equality to the death chart midpoints of Mars/Saturn ("death; restriction with activity or work") and Sun/Neptune ("to be susceptible to a disappointment with health or outward expression"). Also note that Admetos/Vulcanus ("fate; mighty hinderance or separation") equals this birth chart Sun position by 22.5 degrees. This defines a serious health crisis or restriction of activity.

8110998858?profile=original

This can be defined as "the entity may experience death or a restriction of activity due to being susceptible for health issues. These problems may define a mighty separation or hinderance."

I hope that my presentation of these findings add strength for my selection for the electional horoscope of the Buddha.

Thanks for reading.

Love to all,

Malcolm

  • ever since I was a child , I tended to find my own ways into personal spirituality and mind opening steps for personal advancment and personal enlightment . As a child I was born into my family,s  christianity and never was satisfied , searched throu countless religions , old and new age spiritual teachings and many more philosophical ideas. Per chance and something meant for me to find , I got inspired by the story of ancient Essenes which lead me towards brotha Buddha throuout my studies. What an inspiration was his story , like mine :  Born into priveledge , in time searching for higher and more important happiness, well being and needing less and less for spiritual happiness, ( what ever that means ).........so, i wanted to ask you Malcolm what is your expertise about someone born in 1965 in february 11th?

    • MICHAEL: you are also born under the Uranus Conjunction Pluto that was described to Luke in my previous discussion. Hence, you are just as qualified for great potential for "revolutionary transformation," be it yourself or others. Your Uranus / Pluto conjunction is within three degrees of being exact, and it qualifies as a Conjunction by my standards for orb measurement.

You are also born under a Jupiter Opposition Neptune placement. I have noticed that Jupiter / Neptune aspects can offer tremendous involvement or curiosity with entertainment, religion, or spiritual areas (and note that Martin Luther King had Jupiter Trine Neptune). I also notice that Jupiter / Neptune aspects can also invite much attraction to recreational drugs, especially marijuana and alcohol. And yes, Uranian astrologer Alfred Witte defined the midpoint of Jupiter / Neptune as "speculation, usually financial-based." Hence, as is the case with the Uranus Conjunction Pluto that you have, you have very great potential for intense spiritual advancement and/or enlightenment, but it's all about how you elect to use the energy.

And please, please.....please be prudent and avoid taking short cuts in your journey since this may define speculation. I got into debates when I was with O.T.O. about left-hand tantra versus right-hand tantra, and it is my opinion that left-hand tantra defines speculation.

Avoid speculation and you will be on the right path.

      • thanks Malcolm , I appreciate your response...................

  • Interesting read, Malcolm. Thats the first time I have "trudged" through one of your Horoscope posts, it was the word "Buddah" that grabbed my attention. I found it interesting although I still cant figure out the chart diagrams, as I mentioned before. (I never studied it, (Astrology) so I wouldn't understand it the same as you) Thanks for puttting in the effort and time to post all of it none the less. At some point, I intend to get a better understanding of the Horoscope, so I might need to ask you a ton of questions about it, (not for a while, though, I'm currently up to my eyeballs in other multi dimensional research).

    Cheers,

    Luke.

    • Malcolm, I found this intriguing, Buddah died May 8th / 7th...  my own birthday is also on the 8th May, I was born on 8th May 1966 so I am Taurus. All I know is my oppisite sign is Scorpio, and that in the Chinese Horoscope, I am a "Fire Horse".

      • Malcolm, do you know anything about those born on 8th May, specifically 1966, the year I was born? I am intrigued to know the signifcance of my birthday, and what it means in terms of astrology and more besides. I have reached a point where I am wondering why in particular, we are born on certain dates, in certain years and on certain days and even the time (of day or night) that we are born. As each day passes, I am more and more curious to find out the significance of it and just where I fit (for want of another word) into the "scheme" of things. I believe each souls birthday and indeed, the day of their death, are by design, if I could just figure out what that is, the meaning behind it.

        • LUKE: you were born in a very significant year. May of 1966 features Uranus and Pluto together in conjunction at 15 degrees Virgo, and your Sun position is in a harmonious trine with this conjunction. This looks very promising for you as far as being a spiritual leader. But please read on. .

I've noticed one very serious criminally-motivated individual  born under this 1966 placement (and involved in multiple murders with no empathy whatsoever in the ghetto). However, I've also noticed one very serious spiritually-motivated individual also born under this 1966 placement. He possessed incredible spiritual energy in my opinion,  and I based this on a reading of his aura one evening when I was doing astrology with the Hare Krishna's..

This "dual personality complex" clearly represents the duality of the energies of Uranus and Pluto. Uranus is the revolutionary energy that can represent either the dangerous outlaw or the innovative technician (and Uranus rules both guns and astrology. I was born almost directly under Uranus in the sky). Pluto is an intense and secretive-type of energy that can represent either the unseen dangerous terrorist or the secretive research specialist working for the public good (and note that Putin was born directly under Pluto in the sky). Hence, regarding the combination of Uranus and Pluto that you have, it's all about how you elect to work with the energy. I suspect you will do much good since your Sun position is in a hard trine with this Uranus/Pluto conjunction.

Congratulations Luke. You (and those born in 1966) were born under a very major astrology event. Now go out and put it to good use. .

          • Malcolm, thank you for your thoughtful reply, I appreciate your knowledge on this subject. As regards the "dual personality complex" representing the energies of Uranus and Pluto, I will take the latter over the former any day of the week. In other words, the prospect of being a "spiritual leader" is far more appealing than that of a criminal, naturally. I must admit, I have toyed with the idea of evolving into some sort of "public speaker", whereby I impart sacred knowledge" to vast crowds, becomming somewhat of a maverick whistle blower, like David Icke,Terence McKenna, Eckhart Tolle, or indeed a plethora of others. However, it remains but a thought in my mind and one that often seems totally ridicules, because I wouldnt know where to even begin, therefore, that thought is difficult for me to "grasp", to take hold of and make it a reality. I dont possess the same diction or delivery as those people, let alone their wisdom and knowledge.

Still, the idea is terribly seductive, especially considering the state of the world at large, rather, the fact that so many people the world over, have quiet literally forgotten what their true nature really is. Please understand, I say that not from a perspective of ego or lofty delusions of grandure or anything of the sort, but from a very honest and heartfelt "longing" to see love, peace, harmony and balance restored in everyones conciousness. I consider myself a learner and nothing more. I dont know what it means to be a spiritual "leader", and yet, I silently wish that so many people in this world would awaken quickly. Having said that, I think we are all spiritual leaders in one way or another, certainly we are all learners and teachers combined but I still lean heavily on the side of the student. Perhaps I can use my Artwork to uplift others, because the thought of addressing a crowd makes me feel apprehensive. Who am I to hold court and stand in the spotlight and dish out higher truths? The mere notion of it terrifies me and then I start to ponder on exactly what it is I am afraid of. I occasionally think I am the last soul on the Earth who could ever "lead" others to their spiritual center, yet another part of me silently condems that thought and says "get a grip, you are ready for them!"

The fact is, the world is peppered with Gurus and contempary Shamans, healers, great speakers and highly evolved souls, whose purpous is to enable those drawn to their energy to fully awaken. I cant see myself fitting into that same catagory at all, and yet, in my mind, I can sort of see myself as one of them. Maybe being a "spiritual leader" could be confined to my own bedroom, where I live alone, that I may be at one with myself because the prospect of going out there and spreading the "good news" is just slightly off the chart in my books. Then again, perhaps its not. I have often wondered how certain individuals become what the are, exactly where their inspiration sprang forth from and exactly what it is that guided them to become the great speakers they became. Take "Terence McKenna" as an example. For starters, he was already a brilliant mind, a well versed, highly knowedgable soul whose psyhedelic experiences on psilocybin mushrooms and Dimethyltryptamine only served to expand his conciousness into areas of the rabbit h@le others fear to tread. One would assume that, like William Burroughs, making a living out of taking drugs would result in your brain becomming like a sive, the loss of a few billion brain cells fried for dinner but he still emerged with an enormous smile, logical, reasoned, coherent and terribly articulate. So did McKenna. Eckhart Tolle on the other hand, probibly gets his kicks from contemplating a rose petal, in fact, I doubt he ever wrapped his lips around a water bong in his life, who knows? Drugs aside, I think you need to have a certain unique energy to be able to stand up in this world and speak your truth, especially if your intention is to gather people together, that those who are drawn to you may break the chains of their own mental bondage and remember their true spiritual nature. I could go out on the street tommorow and hand out flowers to each passer by, only to have some of them reject my offerings. Thats also fine, part and parcel of putting yourself on the line and I presume, comes with the territory. David Icke faced severe criticism and ridicule but held onto the reigns because he knows that what he is sharing has validity.

When I observe the likes of Eckhart Tolle or any of the above mentioned, I sometimes think there should be more like them, more people making a stand, more mavericks out there and more often than not, I ponder on saying f@ck it and doing it myself. Malcolm, you know I am trying to grasp your analogy, that being born in the year 1966 was under a very major astrological event, because I dont really understand what it all means, but in my heart I know that there is more to my own path than I can currently figure out. I appreciate your detailed response and will definately consider what you have put forward, because I feel something is pulling me towards it and yet I am reluctant to follow through, maybe its fear, maybe its uncertainty, quite possibly the lower energeitc levels grappling at my heels, however, that is subject to change as soon as I can shake it off. I dont know what form of "spiritual leader" you may be refering to, perhaps I should just follow my heart and allow myself to be guided and whatever is meant for me will be.

Whenever I look at the stars, I often wonder exactly what is in store for humanity because so far, the awakening of conciousness is a slow boat to China. Of course, we are set for incredible realities, its just the inching along that I find exasperating, the snails pace, the slow, first gear forward movement. I wish it was otherwise, which is why I pay little head to channeled materials, false promises and inevitable failed predictions of the upcomming so called "event" and simelar nonsense. Astrology on the other hand, holds enormous validity, so you, Malcolm, serve a great purpous sharing your insights which I understand to be deeply valuable, so, to round this particular comment off, I will simply say thank you, and I am grateful.

            • LUKE: there are listeners, cynics, and activists. You are welcome to be whatever you want to be. But please note that you have to have a thick skin if you are an activist, and you may have tasted some of my nonsense in response to your cynicism of my political articles. That's okay, but the reality is that it  still reveals yourself as a cynic, and not an activist.

David Icke got attacked by Jesse Ventura last year (and I like both men, but I didn't like Ventura's approach with his attack on Icke via an organized religion prespective, because Icke never wanted to start a cult as Ventura seemed to assume in his attack of Icke). I am currently getting criticism in Santa Fe circles because I'm not into astrology that is spiritually based, but hey, I predicted a KGB scandal in spring of 2016, the bottom of oil in May 2016 (I WAS ONE MONTH OFF) and two earthquakes in 2016 (and BOTH within 2 days).

I'm trying to sell the importance of the craft of astrology, as opposed to starting a religion or cult. I don't know if I will ever get anywhere with it. But note that Buddha was criticized when he started out with his lessons of life, just as David Icke (and so many other pioneers of enlightened teaching) were also criticized in their beginning of teaching revolutionary concepts of our reality to others.

You can be whatever you want to be. Just do the right thing to help others, and don't be afraid if you make mistakes. You caught me with a couple of mistakes, and I admitted it. But unless you step into the ring where conflict is eminent, you are only a cynic who can criticize others as opposed to taking the blows from others that an activist takes who is trying to initiate change.

              • Well, first and foremost, you are right about needing a thick skin in order to be an activist, thats damm sure. I think to be proactive (especially if you want to affect change) is most definately not for the faint hearted, or the over sensitive. It requires a strong will, a focused mind and an open heart but it also requires courage and a very balanced energy. Theres no point in doing things half heartedly, its all or nothing, even if that means you make mistakes along the way, like anyone who suffers from stage fright, if they fall on stage, then the best way forward is not to run away, but to get back up and try again.

On another note, I feel the need to express just one point, Malcolm, in regards to the terms (being critical / cynical) that you mentioned, but I would simply ask you to just digest what I am expressing here without reading too much into it. The thing is, I've already let all that go, as I did already mention to you in a recent comment in your other post. You appear to be high lighting an open wound from past differences with me, (r.e. the point you make about me being critical / cynical.) I dont see the point of dragging up old wounds, especially when I haven't been critical or cynical in this thread at all, in fact, my previous comment in this thread is completely respectfull towards you. If anything, (and I mean no disrespect) but if anything, it appears you are still bearing a grudge and I made an effort to be very carefull around you since that time, so please understand that there is no point in holding onto past grievances or misunderstandings. Like I said, I did apologise before, even though I didn't feel it was even nessesary, I did it none the less. To be cynical implies that a person believes another or others are motivated purely by self-interest rather than acting for honourable or unselfish reasons, and, although some ACC membes certainly do come accross that way, personally it is not in my orbit, although I will call someone out if I think they are sharing bullshit material or that they are on a self imposed pedistal. Listen, the difference here is when I speak of things like higher conciousness, it can be taken the wrong way, or seen as though I am full of myself but thats not the case. Sure, I'm not really into politics, but I don't condem people (such as yourself) for being into it, its just not my thing, but I face ridicule simply because I offer my opinion on it. We are all entitled to free speech. You recently told me that you didn't see me commenting on any of your other posts, the non political ones, well, how about this post? I made a valiant effort to reconnect with you, by showing you that the astrology subject IS of interest to me, even though I don't fully understand it.

So please, if I can let things like that go, then I am sure you can aswell. The feeling I get from your comment is that you were hurt by something I said before and that you still have it nagging away at you, because if you read the following comment again, you will see that I am being sincere, that I am not being critical and I am not being cynical. By the way, don't we all critisize from time to time? I don't see anything wrong with it as long as it dosen't start getting negitive. Healthy disagreements are fine, but being hyper critical against another member on a personal level is always unnessesary. Brother, with respect, I see you do it quite often, but I dont get on a bull horn and have a go at you about it. When I read something that dosen't resonate with me, I will offer my opinion on it, the problem stems when people read into it and take it the wrong way, and it gets taken personally. You already told me to work on my "art of words", if you remember, and therefore, I am respectfully doing that. Read my above commant again and you will see not a shred of cynicism in it. To work on our art of words, I think most of us could benifit from that advice to be honest. The other problem, is when people condem others for being too critical or cynical when in fact, they fail to see the double standards in their own words which often times can be filled to the brim with hyper critical attack, unbeknownst to the one who wrote it. People condem others for being critical when they themselves are critisizing the hell out of the other person but fail to see that they are just as "guilty" of it.

When I read your posts, it is clear that you are very serious about the topics that interest you and that is to be applauded and respected, indeed, you are a top contributor to the forum, however, if we are getting to the nitty gritty about personality traits here, then to my concious observation, you also appear to take things too seriously on a personal level and hang onto them like a thorn in your side, when really there is no need to. Please refresh your memory from the comment I have copied and pasted (below here) so that you can understand and be clear about where I am comming from in future interactions, and please, try to understand that the way I write is never to be taken personally, I also do not make direct attacks against anyone, I occasionally (and sometimes frequently) disaggree with peoples input and their beliefs etc, but thats where the buck stops, I may not aggree with what they say but I do not wish anyone any bad vibes personally. Yes, we all make mistakes, and as you can see from the following comment, I am preparred to rectify my own. What we need in my opinion, is "leverage" in our interactions with one another, the space to allow ourselves to express our opinions without accusations or falling inro the trap of taking things too seriously, taking things personally and misunderstanding the original intention and vibration behind the words. I hope I dont have to go over this again, like I said, we need to excercise "leverage" between us, (as some of us have different views and different opinions) that we can find breathing space in our interactions with each other.

"Ok Malcolm, I'll work on my "art of words", I appreciate your reply although, as I did apologise, I think words can sometimes get misconstrued and misunderstood in the forum. You know, you are right about using a filter, thats some sound advice and one that I will take on board. Occasionally I look back on a comment that I wrote and I regret not "editing" certain parts of it so yes, I definately need to filter my words more. Also, because we are communicating without the benefit of body language and voice inflection, words can sometimes be misinterpreted, as is stated in the community guidelines. I think some comments get misconstrued and misunderstood, get blown out of proportion and then it leads to bad feelings and people falling out with each other. I will definately approach my replies with more care from now on, I think thats some of the best advice I have been reminded of lately, so I appreciate that. The only thing I would ask of you, is that you try not to take things too seriously, thats all, and I feel as though I'm walking on egg shells even saying that, I can only hope you see it as its intended, in the same way that I accept your advice, and I am preparred to work on that advice."

The Story of the Angry Young Man and The Buddha

It is said that one day the Buddha was walking through a village. A very angry and rude young man came up and began insulting him, saying all kind of rude words.

The Buddha was not upset by these insults. Instead he asked the young man, “Tell me, if you buy a gift for someone, and that person does not take it, to whom does the gift belong?”

The young man was surprised to be asked such a strange question and answered, “It would belong to me, because I bought the gift.”

The Buddha smiled and said, “That is correct. And it is exactly the same with your anger. If you become angry with me and I do not get insulted, then the anger falls back on you. You are then the only one who becomes unhappy, not me. All you have done is hurt yourself.”
