  Your so correct in understanding that the brain far outperform even the most sophisticated computer in SPEED. At first, this donnot seem so. It requires carefull close exermination. The comp is infact a snail in the dynauser age!
  
  The trick is that the brain uses a principle that we cannot even begine to imagine how to program a machine to achieve it; COMMON SENSE. Space is not about 'accurate measurements' by atomic rulers etc. The foot ball only need to know some few tips:
  
  1.)Is the ball high enough that I should jump?
  2.)Is it low enough that I should stop it with chest?
  3.)Is the goal near enough that I should shoot?
  4.)Is the ball this sideway enough that I should use the left foot?
  
  Such is what creats the correct idea of SPACE. Not a cartesian grid!!! Such is how the brain will do tasks that are milleniums ahead of a computer!

  The most comfortable way of changing tasks is the natural way, which is a smooth change in gears that should vary at synch with nature. Bells are artificial and jerky. Using ringing bells to control you is a kin to using burettes and beam ballances to weigh the food you eat! The stomach knows better when you have eaten enough, unless your not healthy.

  Mostly, I use the sun as the clock! I divide the sky into two, the I divide it into 4, then into 8 etc. I never say what time it is as in a number. I just say: its time for breakfast, i mean the sun is rising, its time for tea break, I mean the sun is on its quarter way. Its time for lunch, I mean the sun is exactly above my head etc etc.

  From my experience, I am pretty sure that getting up with the sunrise is good to your health!:) by the time the sun rise, automatically, the need for more sleep has completely ended. The biological clock is at synch with the earth!
  
  Sometimes back, I had a demanding job that made it necesary for to to wake at 5.00 am. I developed health problems, including caughs and chest pain etc. I never knew what caused the problem till they completely disapeared when I resigned.

  We have a biological clock in every cell of the body. These days people have messed up their biological clocks by setting them to time to go to work, etc.  Another thing that messes with the internal clock is the way they change from summertime to wintertime by setting the clocks back and forward an hour every few months. I think our internal clock is connected to our position on the earth...this is why people get jet lag when they travel on planes.  One thing that I do is to say to myself once a day ´´recalibrating to natural time´´.....to reset my inner clock.  I awaken with sunrise, don´t depend much on clocks.  A few years back I hung my clocks and watches with strings from my ceiling....I called it ´´offering time into space.´´

  Q:What ruler were we using to check that our ruler was accurate when we were inventing the ruler?

  How does artificial clocks seem to outperform the clock in the brain? It is in the same way a computer can apparently seem to outperform the brain. However, when we zoom in carefully we find that it doesn't even remortly go near the brain.
  
  A man made clock is not sophisticated enough to bring about the awareness of duration.
  
  Music is one such good fun for measuring time.:) you can always tell when the drum beater makes a fantastic timing.
  
  A mathematical physicist has lost touch with true reality. He kills his hours measuring, calculating, predicting and proving. He nolonger know that a measure of a thing is an arbitrary man made criteria.
  
  Q:What is length?
  A: I think I know what a ruler is, therefore I know what length is!
  
  That is not a very smart answer. If we didn't know what length is before we made a ruler, then we would not make one. That is why we didn't use a plasticin to make a ruler. We used a very rigid object.
  
  Here it goes: we absolutely donnot nead a ruler or numbers to tell:
  
  a)Janet is taller than Jane
  b)Jane is taller than Janet
  c)Janet is as tall as Jane
  
  A ruler was invented for mere convenience in that Janet may not be standing next to Jane. But all we wanted to know is if 'Janet' is taller than 'Jane' etc. A ruler was not invented to teach us what length is!! Rather, we could invent one because we understod what we mean by 'length'.

  Biological clocks are far much more sophisticated than the man made ones! Yet we are thought not to trust this clock!!!
  
  A proper functioning clock is not that which shows a 'when' as defined by a human being. It is that which moves at synch with the cosmos.
  
  I repeat: there is no clock that can outperform the clock in your brain!

  Time should be measured in how much fun we have....perhaps it is naturally...
