As I put the finishing touches on my second book, Growing in All Directions at Once: Entering the Golden Age of Gaia (yes, I’m excited), I’ve been watching one of my favorite Youtube videos of Susan Boyle’s stunning Britain’s Got Talent performance from 2009. I don’t seem to be able to get enough of it.

Matthew Ward said of Susan:

As I watch myself slowly and gently open up under the influence of these delicious energies we’re all simmering in, I get to see over and over again, and deeper and deeper, the many ways that we’ve closed off to love. One of them is … just as our sources have been saying since forever … the judging of others.
Hey, what Matthew said about having diminished interest in people who don’t have the perfect form, I have that one! I myself have a less than perfect physical form, which grows (literally) as each year passes and I watch myself even judge myself! I know that one for sure.
But in these germinal times, when so much is becoming clear to us all, I’m beginning to see quite distinctly how my judgments deposit plaque in my emotional arteries and impede the flow of love. As that plaque loosens under the influence of the waves of love hitting us, and my own love flows, I feel such love for Susan. I barely pay attention to the outer container. It seems to have disappeared as a consideration.
And you know that Archangel Michael keeps asking us to look at the inner changes for validation of what’s happening. This is, for me, one certain inner indication of what’s happening, with me at least.
Let’s be honest. We’re chiefly interested in the inner changes anyways, are we not? If I feel more and more bliss every day, is that not the best sign that we’re entering the Golden Age of Gaia? Is inner change, from unhappiness to happiness, not chiefly what we seek? Well, I can say without the shadow of a doubt, it is what I seek.
Archangel Michael and Sanat and the others who’ve told us say there is no going back. Yes, I see that.It’s like the machine that inches forward and then locks in that next step taken and then inches forward again.
We’re indeed being freed from our conceptual and emotional prisons. And what a relief it is. What an improvement in the quality of life. I see it in these moments of being swept up in love or moments of noticeing that my irritability is subsiding or my ability to be called names and not be dragged under is increasing. These are the signs of the times. And I am so enjoying them.
(My next book, which I’m starting almost immediately, will be aimed at creating a cross-cultural spirituality in the world, a unified view of enlightenment and the three levels of Reality – known to Christians as the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost and to Hindus as Brahman, Atman, and Shakti.)
