Learning how to stand up for what you know is right is the biggest achievement you can hope to accomplish. I've noticed recently how maturity level doesn't always agree with age. The maturity of someone comes from their inner hopes and aspirations, not from their experiences alone, but also their beliefs and essentially, the truth of their existence. 

The expectations that you attract to yourself as you go through life, are usually pretty truthful because of the context that they appear to your conscious body. However, although expectations are partial-truths, they are always changing.

And so, we can't just live with expectations. For one, they will disappoint you, because you seriously can't control what it is that you could expect from life. And humans are beings of control. 

Controlling your expectations then...is difficult.
It requires that there be something to occupy your trust. What you put your trust in. It's important here to know that Jesus is someone you can put your trust in. 

His body represents the destruction of the human mind. He gave that up to please his God. The God of Israel and the God of Abraham. 

His blood is as pure as the love of the Holy Spirit himself.
