¿QUE OTRO REFUGIO PUEDE HABER?

Que cada uno de vosotros sea su propio refugio, porque ¿qué otro refugio puede haber? (Buda) Estamos siempre buscando el centro fuera de nuestro centro, la dicha fuera de nuestro ser, la seguridad en toda clase de autodefensas y aferramientos que ya en su día nos harán ver que nada tienen de seguro ni seguridad pueden a nadie otorgar. Es por este motivo que surge la necesidad compulsiva de los lideres, los ídolos, los gurús y los guías, y muchas personas pierden su identidad al identificarse con ellos o sus mensaje, y consignan y añaden a su ausencia de libertad interior la esclavitud de rendirse a esos manipuladores de las intenciones y sentimientos humanos. Si el ser humano alcanzara la mayoría de edad mental y emocional no tendría necesidad de buscar fuera de sí mismo lo que dentro de él mismo está ni de rendir obediencia ciega e incluso abyección y vergonzante pleitesía a esos conductores que nos aben ni conducirse a si mismos. Sería el hermoso y reconfortante ocaso de los líderes para dar paso al genuino guía interior. La persona que comienza a reflexionar y que realmente quiere madurar empieza a darse cuenta meridiana de que si todo es transitorio y cambiante ¿dónde puede haber refugio que no sea en uno mismo? El refugio se halla en un estado interior de sosiego y claridad, en un espacio interno de lucidez y compasión. Otra persona puede ayudarte a vestirte, darte de comer, limpiar tu cuerpo si estás enfermo y atenderte, pero nadie puede convertirse en refugio de ti mismo. Hay tanto exacerbado sentimiento de soledad porque uno no encuentra su propio centro, su propio refugio interior, su propia morada interna, y se vive con la alienante ilusión de que otra persona nos puede servir de refugio. Nos pueden estimular, confortar, consolar y acompañar, pero nadie puede entrar dentro de nosotros y vivir la experiencia por nosotros. Tú eres tu lámpara a encender; tú eres esa isla que si te apoyas en la ecuanimidad y la fortaleza interior nada podrá anegar; tú eres ese refugio en el que encontrar tu equilibrio y brindárselo a los demás. A traves de cambios y etapas que vamos viviendo nos aferramos mas y mas a todo aquello que parece brillar con intensidad y conforme nos acercamos al origen, nos vamos dando cuenta que lo que en realidad brilla tanto, es el reflejo de la luz interior de nuestro corazón.
