ALTITUDE OF CONSCIOUSNESS
“Greetings Dear Ones,
We are the High Council of Orion.
Our message today is one about the perspective of altitude of consciousness. Within this we speak about altitude as being the distance from whatever the thing is, the source, the place where your consciousness is at.
No matter what the issue is in your life, as you reach greater levels of altitude relative to that issue, you a allow yourself to be able to see more and more of the influencing factors, and you are less in a sense on the ground with it.
As you get an altitude of consciousness about whatever is happening in your life, you allow yourself to bring in that bigger picture, you allow yourself to see the relationships and inter-relationships of all the factors, and it takes you out of the thick of it, to move more freely, to get a different perspective.
Sometimes if you're in the middle of the forest you cannot find your way out of it, yet if you raise your altitude of consciousness to just above the trees, you might be able to see a way out of the forest, even though you feel like you're lost in the middle of the trees, but actually if you go right instead of left, instead of going deeper into the forest, you actually can get out of the forest right away.
So the idea of altitude of consciousness allows you to have a different perspective on the things that are happening in your life, in all ways, in both the positive and the negative aspects of your experience of what's happening.
If you have things in your life that aren't feeling comfortable that you would say are “negative,” that altitude of consciousness again gives you that opportunity to see a different way, get a different perspective, maybe turn it around as we have spoken about before, and try and find that positive aspect, the reason why maybe that's a good idea in your life right now, so you can release the judgment around it and allow it to move.
With regard to those negative things, going back to the forest metaphor, is maybe you would always feel like you're in the middle of the forest, and always want to go down the path to the left, but it always feels like no matter what you do going down the path to the left, it always brings more of the same, because you're going deeper and deeper into the forest.
If you start with his altitude of consciousness, see that “Oh there actually is a path out to the right,” and look at that. If I take that path out to the right it’s just twenty steps down the road and I’m out in the light again.
Allowing yourself to say “How do I raise my view, my perception of what this is, just a little bit to see a bigger picture,” and sometimes all you need to do is just slow down and ask yourself:
How can I see the situation from an altitude of consciousness?
What are the parts and pathways that I'm missing?
And what more can I know and understand?
Because as you gain in altitude of consciousness you can take in more, if you're in the middle of the trees and you get that altitude of consciousness, you are above the forest, you could see the mountains nearby and you could see the lake nearby and you could see the village nearby, you can see resources available that you might not see when you're in the middle of the forest, and the same goes with looking at aspects of things in your life where you can gain that altitude of consciousness, gain that higher-level perspective, to bring in new and different information for you.
The same is true of positive aspects of your life, because this isn’t always about the negative aspects. What are the things that are going really well, and you may not necessarily feel that you need that altitude of consciousness when things are really going well in your life, but what if you still said “Wow this is so awesome but what's that altitude of consciousness going to bring to you,” it can show you more of what's to come, more of what's are already on its way to you, and allow you to anticipate, be more excited about, make different decisions to allow even more to come into you.
This altitude of consciousness is very helpful to giving yourself new and different perspectives on your life, in a really positive way, it helps give you that birds eye view if you will, so you can take in more information and have more informing you in your life.
We invite each and every one of you to explore and play with this idea of altitude of consciousness in different areas of your life. For, even if you're stuck in traffic, if you are trying to solve a problem in your personal life or in your work life, just play with this idea of altitude of consciousness and see:
What new information;
What new perspective;
What new attitude;
What new information can come in?
As you reel yourself out of that situation. You actually are reeling yourself out of some of the deeper emotions that might keep you trapped.
Allow yourself to move to a greater place of ease within your emotions, which again allows new information, new perspectives to come in for you.
It can be a lot of fun.
