Amidst the transitory phenomena swirling within and around you, there is an unchangeable core, a point of inner stillness that remains unchanged – this individualized unit of consciousness, is your indestructible, imperishable soul. Embodying soul consciousness can enable you to transcend the fluctuations you experience in the dualistic realm you find yourselves in, but how does one go about it?
You must begin by addressing one very important question: what are you allowing you to define you?
Do you seek your sense of identity in your thoughts, emotions or feelings? How about your habits, beliefs or perceptions? Your name, nationality or relationship status? Your occupation or reputation? How about your abilities or achievements? Your past experiences? What about those that are yet to come?
When you strip all this away, what remains? Spacious awareness. This is soul consciousness – it is to disidentify with anything other than, what Krishna taught thousands of years ago, the Supreme Self. This level of consciousness is supreme in the sense that it is untouched by anything you experience.
You may be experiencing thoughts, feelings, emotional reactions, difficulties, pleasurable moments, you may be elated, excited, ecstatic or down, depressed, miserable, but when one is in touch with the Pearl of Great Price, something Yeshua the Christ defined as the soul, all transitory phenomena experienced doesn’t go all that deep anymore. Negative emotions, for example, feel like ripples on the surface of your being. You are rooted in soul consciousness – untouched at your core, and eternally at peace, even when your ego is not.
Today, we remind you that each and everyone of you has the ability to achieve this level of consciousness. But you must learn how to cope with the ever-constant changes that take place in the field of the human persona. The ups and downs of life, the emotional reactions, the happiness and sadness, these dualities must be transcended – this doesn’t mean you won’t experience them any longer, but you’ll no longer seek yourself in nature’s alterations. Rather, you’ll achieve the transcendent peace that passeth all understanding.
When you are in tune with your core self, you become a clear channel for higher consciousness. You gain intuitive access to the divine mind and cosmic intelligence guides you effortlessly to the fulfilment of your destiny. This is soul consciousness – you transcend the person and become your true self, which is pure consciousness........LOVE
