(LifeSiteNews) — An ex-Freemason told Tucker Carlson that our souls are engaged in a supernatural battle between “dark and light,” saying he experienced extraordinary manifestations of this as he was being initiated into Freemasonry.

Sean Stone, a filmmaker, actor and show host, told Carlson in a recent interview about his personal experiences with dark supernatural forces, stressing the importance of our own volition to choose the good in our lives as a way of curbing demonic influence.

Before he got involved in Freemasonry, Stone realized through his studies that people recognized “supernatural forces of dark and light” throughout history until about the Enlightenment period, when they began to dismiss the supernatural as “hocus pocus” and focused “only on the physical realm.”

He condemned this materialism as “at its heart” “worship of the earth.” 

“And that’s why people talk about the earth is … kind of Lucifer’s domain, right? Because … if you start worshiping money and yourself, your own ego, well, you’ve lost sight of the transcendent power of God,” said Stone.

He believes a lot of the materialists, like Darwin, “are essentially serving the dark side because they’re saying there’s nothing outside the material realm,” and this “elevates our own egos.” 

“We’re the progenitors of this and we are the greatest thing in the universe,” he added.

Stone then began to experience manifestations of demonic forces when he explored haunted places with a friend of his in New Jersey. In one house by a mental hospital where terrible things had happened, he heard the “sounds of hell,” like demonic laughing. He and his friend went back to the house multiple times to bless it and said the final time “felt a purging of the energy” there. The house burned down “on its own” in a month or two.

He reflected upon these experiences and observed that “demons create fear in us, and it seems to be a frequency match” for them.

“Do you think that’s one of the reasons that Jesus so often tells his disciples not to be afraid?” asked Carlson.

“Yes, that’s exactly right,” said Stone. “So what I would say this battle is between the darkness that feeds on that fear, that lower (vibration), psyche of not being in our right mind, not being in our higher selves, not being connected to …God.”

He noted that drugs and excessive alcohol use induce such “lower frequency” states that resonate with dark forces.

Stone went on to tell Carlson about other strange experiences he personally had as he began initiation into Freemasonry, which he described as kinds of tests.

After his first degree initiation, an unknown man called him and asked him about the Masonic ceremony. The man, taking turns with a woman, told him that he was watching him and describing things he was doing as he walked back to his apartment and what he was wearing. He began to record their conversation, and they told him to stop recording. He stopped and started again, but his recordings did not save. While on the phone, they discussed the fallen angels and nephilim.

In between his first- and third-degree initiation into Freemasonry, Stone said he would get phone calls from 666 numbers “all the time.” He would hear things from “demonic” voices like, “We want your soul.”

“I don’t know if it was Satan or the CIA. … I would just laugh and say, ‘It’s not mine to give, my soul belongs to God. I can’t help you, basically.’”

Once he received a call from people who sounded like they were engaged in a ritual worship of Baal. 

“It’s almost like they were trying to engage my energy for what they were doing,” said Stone.

He pointed out that those who join Freemasonry “who choose the darker side” are basically willing to do anything,” including the most evil acts, because they only want power.

Stone later stressed that demonic forces “don’t have any power unless we give it to them.” 

“If we give them power, if we give them attention, if we give them energy, if we feed them our fear — that’s what Christ was saying, let go of the fear. Just have faith. Let faith replace the fear. And that was what I had to go through in my two, three year journey of dark experiences, and being haunted by things that were energetically tangible.”

“It’s like, okay, I surrender. I surrender to the higher power. I have faith. You can’t have my soul, because it doesn’t belong to you … if we can face our fears, own our fears, and find deeper faith, we will create a better reality, because the dark will have less food.”

Ultimately, Stone said, we are called to “commune with a higher power,” God, and aspire to “bring more light into the world,” like the saints and Jesus Christ.
