Platon is an altar boy when it comes to the new crack drug fueling the minds of contemporary people.

While Platon is tempting people to see other realities behind things and happenings bringing them in bad cases to states of schizophrenia, something new has appeared. Dichotomy is a thing of questions and a restless mind, but nowadays there is no questioning anymore nor any thoughts of dichotomy. Instead, there is a movement toward an almighty complex: the contemporary human is tempted to believe, he or she is

# responsible for all;

# creator of his/her own reality;

# his or her own God;

# most important and at least almighty.

Again: Platon has divided reality in at least two different kinds, but the Y2K crack is dividing all in me and not me, in close and far, in effecting me and effecting me not. Important is the relation to me - if not, if it has nothing to do with me, I have not the tiniest interest. Zero, null, nothing.

The effects of such limitless drug is obvious. While Platonians see behind all corners meaning, those drug addicts find no meaning in no things and cases. Ans while Platonians tend to see an all connectedness in all things, Y2K drug dependents see no connection in nothing, but loneliness everywhere. Thus the strongest is the winner. The almighty complex has no dream of solidarity or love. It is a cold emenation of a mind with no questions. It is the unfolding of a lonely soul being trapped in empty illusions of importance.

Another name for it is nihilism. It is a state of mind, which is linked to decadence and senseless consumation. It is the level of society, where a brand is more than real content, where appearance is more than character and good looking more than real skills.

We may suffer from the platonian heritage, we may often feel pain from the big wound every Platonism is going to create. And blessed are those, who go two miles if only one mile is needed, because they suspect hidden realities everywhere. But nihilistic mind sets - I called it Y2K drug addicted - are the climax of stupidity and nonsense. Even questioning has stoped, and the almighty complex is only filling a big black hole of loneliness and fear of love.

Loneliness is not the fate of humans as long as they are aware of being human. Humans with character and some edges.
