Deities are not stone statues..figurines..or mere Idols but spiritually charged up and made live having spiritual power by vedic mantras.
A “deity” is a supernatural being that humans worship..they are Divine having divine spiritual powers.
Deities posses great divine powers. They are able to transcend the material world and accomplish things beyond humans understanding. Because of their transcendence, they have strong connections with otherworldly dimensions.
Remember all those who go to the temples ..as you enter the temple ..head down ..hands namaste position ..as you approach near to the deities see the feet first and then test of body to the head ..meaning from feet to face/ head .. that is the correct way to pay your obeisances, meditate and pay full respect to deities who in turn will spritually charge you up and enlighten you … namaste
