  I believe I'm just a blob of colour and patterned light in essence, but I can appear in matter how I want when a situation calls for it. Like at the moment I'm fulfilling a life with a physical body that I chose prior to birth, but one I chose to express my self whilst on this planet earth. It's just a 'temporary container' is the way I see it ......at the end of the day, we are all of the same substance merging into the source and BEING all that IS, GOD ,LOVE, LIGHT, ENERGY the ONENESS OF LIFE

  ive been wondering about this too! and noticing (personally) that my face changes on a daily basis. sometimes I look "soft" and other times down right pissed off, even when im just thinking really hard! Because of this, my self esteem goes up and down, I actually have no idea as to how I really, clearly, appear in front of others. My eyebrows are like this one day, and like this another day, even the colour in my eyes changes in different shades. Not that i completely change but you know...

  Your soul chooses forms of consciousness (light body, mental body, emotional body, etheric body) which interact with dense matter and create body vehicle matter that reflects the consciousness. As above so below. The source of appearance is the soul not the body. The body is only a reflection of that which exists on finer planes.

  Strange, yet most of us here know of Ashtar as being a blonde humanoid, Jesus long brown haired with facial hair, etc.
  Plus all the experiences of interactions with cosmic beings, I feel the energy body may be for transition to spirit from the physical level. I feel I may be a feline like being or blue-ish.Good question Eiskel. ~*

    Motherr EART-H_H-EARTH is beautifull brown...
    I did have many bodys in many lifes that suited the circumcumstances and privded me the expereiences needed. very wise desissions, only a few time a man, We are great gods and goodesses and we choose how we look and in what body we perform on stage..,now it is time we remeber we can adjust and recreate our bodys into what we want them to be and look now in our new 5d lifes nad world, during our assencion we can also develop these skills again as masters of creation. remeber we have also lived unconsosly our lifes, well some of it, and still in that half sleep we created our worlds and realty imagine what we can do full conciousness!
    Love and SO MUCH JOY FOR BEING IN THIS TIME ALL AS ONE ON OUR PLANET BELOVED MOTHER PEARL EARTH!

  Im not so sure about this Eiskel. I agree that it does happen,yet I suspect there are no hard and fast rules about it. I believe that we as souls have a great deal more freedom than we might imagine to explore different bodytypes and experience the lessons that can come from that.
  
  I have wondered about it too. And thoughts like 'we are what we are" springs to mind. A recent conversation on another forum about the effect of how we judge each other based on looks brought up those ideas of inner beauty versus physical beauty. About judging people on how they look rather than who they are or what they do.
  
  To born ugly,or beautiful,or deformed,or absolutely normal gives rise to a differing set of potentials in the incarnate lifetime. I think in the cases where one retains a particular set of features,is firmly in the choosing of the soul based on what they are here to do or learn.
  
  I do feel there is more freedom for us to choose how we want to come in. I think it would be wrong to assume that there is only one way in this matter. Considering an 'old soul' who has been coming and going for thousands of years,they may have experienced quite a large range of experiences as different race,gender,size,strength,ability,length of life all those things.
  
  A first timer or a 'new soul' as we might want to call them,or the wanderers and starseeds may choose a bodytype particularly suited to fulfill their intentions. A very adventurous and loving soul may choose to be born with disease or disability just to see what it is like. They may have already had those perfect kind of lives. There is a tremendous quality of playful joyfulness from beyond the veil in regards to this.
  
  The reasons for incarnating in any particular way are many and varied. I think you would have to determine these things on a case by case basis in relation to individuals. Am not sure that a blanket judgement can apply to all.

  Where did you read this? I've never come across this anywhere in my study or thoughts from within.
  
  When thinking of ones soul and spirit/energy I see it without form. I can not honestly say that when I die i reside as an image that resembles my human form. That is because inorder to have a situation such as that it then puts reality in terms of image, but true self true life is without image or form. When I look at what holds me in, where my soul resides throughout existence My mind frame spans back across the entire universe, not through an image of human form.
  
  Though, if I am to think about where our looks would grab traits from other then the DNA of our parents I would say that it would be something like karma. For instance in my previous lives I have come closer and closer to love each time giving me a calming loving demeaner about me I also am of strong will and heart, this also comes to describe the way people explain my image to me. I have strong, powerful look within my defined jawline and bigger eye brows, yet give off a soft calm feeling through my soft eyes, skin and cheek bones. So I would say the traits your image tends to mold to is your previous karmic vibrations.
  
  With that said though, I certainly do not believe that we hold human form in other dimensions of self, this is only one aspect.
