Ascension symptoms -
Help , I am new at this , always struggled on my own never asking for help - until now !
I am stuck , recognise ascension symptoms and when I try to ground my 5D energy grid , 2 particularly
nasty alien type god beings appear and they will not allow me to go any farther . they are also influencing my physical reality , very depressed .
If anyone has info on our gods with a small g (alien type) can you help me , I feel like i am losing
control - and that is exactly what they want .

I would suggest going to a good hypnotist. (a Real One) . One that knows about aliens and entities. You would at least learn what you are fighting. I would say many that think they are working with angels are really working with Aliens.
The Gods, or creator spirits as I like to refer to them as, are beings that create Dimensions and the things inside of them. The story of creation in the bible is pretty much how this goes but this dimensions creator spirit made this dimension from inside another dimension - which on this topic explains where and how the catholic god "existed before time".
Anyway, it sounds as though you've been contacted by draconians or grey aliens. These typically aren't good as they can be compared to fallen angels or demons by the way the act. They like to take over areas by accessing small parts and sneaking into them by making their hole bigger and bigger - in this sense they are trying to control you, and if they do it to you, imagine how many others they have done this too.
Ask for the divine energy of the Goddess Kali, Goddess Athena, Goddess Brigid, Goddess Minerva, Goddess Wadjet or even Miss Mary Magdalene to help you eliminate the effects of these creatures (because believe it or not these Goddesses are all the same spirit) and she will respond very effectively especially if you ask for their elimination, not just to remove them from you.
Angels, too, are always good, like Michael, or even Ra or someone like that. These spirits are creator spirits, whether they created this dimensions or other dimensions and merely have taken 'residence' here isn't the question though.
Once you have asked the Kali spirit (or address her by the name of the religion you most feel comfortable with) to eliminate the threat, then ensure that you protect yourself by the means mentioned in the other comments. People think the God spirits are too busy to help but really, they love helping the other spirits if they mean good.

"YOU HAVE NO POWER I AM THE ONLY POWER" BE GONE!....Something this simple works perfectly in so many ways. Specifically in the dream state for me. When I had this reoccurring nightmarish dream for about 12 years from a young age....before I figured out on my own a different approach to ridding them... it doesn't have to be the exact words, but the point comes across just the same. Also laughing at them while you say it is an added bonus. They really have no power over us unless your mind lets them. It is quite funny once you realize you can chase them off.
From dream state example:
At first, ones ability to recognize a dream is a dream is hard and is also hard to manipulate inside said dream, because, well, you don't think it is a dream. But like so many evil things on this earth, the greedy get too greedy and end up going to far and get noticed. For me this nightmarish dream went on for so long, I recognized that i was tired of it and that it was a dream (or was it). So I finally had enough and finally never had bad dreams since..
For me, standing toe to toe with them worked well. Just tell them to be gone and they are just wasting their time. All with a smile on your face :) A smile works wonders on bullies. It takes away their powers. That is my example, but i'm sure there are 100's more to try. Lots of people here that know a lot more than me for different other situations :)

I had night terrors as a child due to these beings - I feel they have always been around ! Now that I can
understand and face them - its time to get my power back - did you feel you had a connection to them ?
No. Just the opposite. Never even thought about bad people or evil things..I had a few OBE's when I was young, but only remembering getting back into myself. Just out of the blue I was harassed in my sleep in dreams. For years the same dream over and over. Funny thing is I can't really recall what it was about. Sounds strange seein I used to have it every night for years. I can see the scene in my head of where it starts out and I never seen who or what it was. Just this very very awful presence that haunted me to the core.
When I licked that dream in the bud, that dream stopped for good. Since then I have had a few weird dreams on and off of me fighting other things. Always different. But the difference in those dreams was I was never afraid. And i found it actually fun, cause I knew I wasn't afraid and I would win. After a while I would have a partner in these dreams fighting against whatever. Strange it is.
But, finally to have a change for once, not too long ago just before I woke, I was in this place, seemed like for only 5 minutes, but it was THE most beautiful place I had EVER seen. Almost brought tears to my eyes it was so wonderful. Then I was like, uuug, i'm awake...lol. But all in all, to be positive and happy about it, is the only way to go for me.
My niece used to see this one man all the time since she was about 2 years old up until she was 6. Sometimes awake, sometimes in her sleep. She woke up one night because she said this man was bugging her. She was about 4yo when she woke that night and told me the situation. I told her;... it was just a dream and this thing/person cannot hurt you. If this man is bothering you, just smile and say leave me alone and I promise you he will not bother you again. And it worked. :) She is 7 now and she said she never seen him again.
I am far from a professional, whatever makes one a professional, but in 2 out of 2 cases, mine and hers, it worked. So i'm happy :)
We are all children of God, capable of growth to be like God. And being a child of God is a two-edged sword. We are all blessed in one sense with our abilities to love and teach, and we are also "cursed" in another sense based on some of our choices made (which may not always be right, despite having good intentions). But we are all children of God, and to live and grow and become like God we must live our lives with love and responsibility for ourselves, as well as for others. Learning from our mistakes and moving on within such growth is a part of this blessing; refusing to learn keeps one in a child-like or adolescent state of growth. And this negates progress from one being like God, as well as sharing the glories and blessings given to us by God.

Its just getting them to back off which I guess the more power I get . . . well, they really dont have a choice .

I could present you with a very compelling argument about how these little g gods are creations of your conscious mind as a means of explaining the the karnic fears that exist in your shadow.
I think the phrase beyond here there be dragons.is apt.
And if you think about it, these little g gods know you quite intimately.
They use your fears against you with surgical precision.
Always know exactly the right thing to say and do to halt you in your tracks.
And so if this be true, they won't back down. Because they can't. Because you're putting there for good reason.
However, regardless of whether it's true or not, your course of action must always be the same.
Don't wish for it to be easier.
Pray for you to become better.
What is at stake here is you claiming your power
The reunion with your I AM presence.
And it is in claiming your power that you overcome them.
Nothing else will fo it.
The little g gods stand guard at the doorway to your higher self.
Challenging you to see if you're worthy of such a divine prize.
Which of course you are.
you area piece of God. and you are in the process of reconnecting with the biggest piece of you.
