So- who, what , do you call on , specifically when you feel threatened by ominous spirits-energies-astral nasties ... like waking from a nightmare ...or in meditation ... or just before sleep
When you feel faced by a threatening astral entity, that you don't feel able to cope with, or just want to be rid of, upon exiting a dream.
What force do you call on, that works well for you.
I'm quite serious... as we all have such experiences....
I've awoken from a few nightmares, and still felt the presence of a force...hanging on me..
Sometimes I'll just turn on lights and read a spiritual book and do a recorded clearing meditation. This works pretty well.
Sometimes I'll call on my spiritual teacher (thats now in spirit), or Jesus. this sorta helps but is only so-so.....
Lately , now that I meditate every night , if I can get grounded OK , I might just blast the room & myself with god-source love energy ...or call on the Christ light to clear the room.
I know some folks are tight with Jesus or Angel Michael .....but neither quite work with-for me, at this point. Had a photo of Babaji on my wall for quite a while, but never really felt his presence when I asked.
I've called on Meher Baba lately, as he seems to like me, and he manifested-acivated a photo.... couple times in the past. (Actually he's gazing at me from my laptop screensaver ATM. ;)
After all the years of doing spiritual practices.... one would think I'd be tight with someone, a saint, guru, whatever...... but I don't call on one specific being for help...even now...
How about you? What really works when you need spiritual backup?

Well thanx for sharing what works for you.
It occured to me , that some divine sources, Jesus, Michael,.... may feel I should use "my own" power to deal with these incidents, and don't step in when called upon for that reason. For my growth.
My responses, (while in the dream) are typically a fear-survival response, a passive defense rather than a strong counter attack)
Can't say I ever tried to kill an astral assailant,in a dream, (with a weapon) as it's just not me. I've either tried to swat them away or flee, those I remember. Awake..once out of the dream, I just do what's needed without fear or vengeance....
I have a strong feeling the astral entities causing the dream, feeds on fear energy.... ( I WAS bitten twice by dogs, in my day job,,, and there def remains some fear there ....(of trusting, getting close to unfamiliar dogs) I've had lovely experiences with animals & dogs... but these 2 incidents were a surprise when I entered their territory in my work duties.
ACTUALLY , I recall having a threatening dog come after me and I simply crouched to its level and projected peace ....that sedated it. It came up to me and accepted my caress, but I could still feel it's inner residual turmoil....
I'm REALLY not sure if this was a dream or reality.. it feels much like a genuine memory though I cannot remember having such an incident in 3D.
BTW..... it's well known that even experienced light workers.... or young sensitives who don't understand their potential, can be targets for dark astral energies ...... or ignorant ones who know no better.
There's SO much about life I yet don't seem to understand.... but the replies here reveal some interesting alternatives.
A sense of absurdity-humor probably goes a long way.. when our understanding seems lacking.
It's a cjh choice whether or not we want to have energy sent to us, it isn't something that needs to be sent, and if we chose not to have energy sent to us, that isn't something we are familiar with, then we have the right to protect ourselves, in not asking people to send us Love energies, when we don't need it
We know when we need the Love energies, and if someone sends it to us, when we don't need it, there is nothing wrong in giving it back to the rightful owner of who was sending out the Love Energy to start off with. I'm sure there are more people out there in the world that could use instead.

One thing I can say for sure, after reading this. You can always get into your own physical body, after having a Astral Experience, and you always will get into your own 3D body, so there really isn't a need to call upon anything to help you, because after all, there is a reason you are getting these dreams in the first place.
If anything I would say pay attention to details, and write it down as soon as you get back into your 3D body again. I mean nothing can really damage your own 3D body, when it comes to this sort of thing
Other energies can travel through a 3D body a lot faster then, then they can while you are sleeping and traveling out of body. You can always have another frequency travel through your body while awake, but until you learn about your own frequencies, you will never know enough to get rid of the extra frequencies that are cable of channeling through your physical body
Again, being awake with some of this stuff, a lot more dangerous at time, then being a sleep traveling out of body
Really pay attention though to details, write it down, and come back to it later on if you must

i call on myself because im not someone who gives away my power.
Live your day in God and spend the night in heaven but if you live your day in evil and you will meet the Devil. If you do meet the Astral Thug in you dream tell him to return to his place where he belongs and stay strong because you have challenged him.Upon awakening and he is still hanging around just say I am sorry and he will let loose.He will be defeated in humbleness.
I too call upon Archangel Michael ;-)
I do that regularly and ask for a re-appliance of his triple-layer shield: The magnetic blue, the white and the gold.
If anything malevolent penetrates my shields anyway, I go in ""Kadoosh" mantra mode", which sends them off immediately.
If I am in a period of repeated "attacks" I ask Archangel Michael to leave an angel at my side for the night for protection, which works too ;-)
