I can't really be too hard on most of the channelers. I really think that most of them mean well and believe themselves. Lots of us just do what the voices in our heads tell us to do...:) None of them are tax collectors! They might gouge a bit on tickets and "magic" amulets, but what the hell. This is the Earth--- "The ashcan of the galaxy" What can a sincere seeker expect? Nirvana tonight? Only if its a rock concert and your on lots of 'shrooms.
Then there are the obviously darker denizens of the genre. Those whose intent isn't just to feel good with their personal delusions (or maybe non-delusions, I don't know)--- those whose intent is to purposely misguide for a darker agenda---way darker and deeper and ad3ept at preying upon those open-minded, vulnerable and hopeful. I think there are some here on ACC, maybe...
