What is the right thing to do if our intuition misinforms us? I've sometimes tried that I asked for help from my intuition and I was misinformed which could have been fatal.

Should I stop trusting my intuition or what is the best thing to do? I've tried putting ALL my faith into my intuition.

  • after reading this post  which is very informative,  Im still at a loss to explain certain actions iv taken in my life  that defy logic;  possibly its intuition?   when I was younger as a radical xtn,  I would listen intently to the "Guiding" of the spirit, I would go places, and talk to people being "Lead"   Or while driving at work,  I would instictivly know where not to be in traffic,  Iv avoided many fatal collisions.  Or the uncanny urge to be somwhere,   just to aid someone in need.    Are these intuition?

    • Yes it is Axiom.. Its your higher self, a unseen lightbeing that comunicate..

Connect with higher self, and intuition will be stronger, lol.

      •  (yeah, following the heart is just that).

Great stories from the 3 of you. It takes courage to trust oneself..... I tried some crazy things when I was

younger that panned out beautifully ..... Even now , I find that things just happen, once I make a decision.

If we take the first step, the universe tends to open doors.

If we just wait and see, so does the universe, I guess. (I've done too much of this lately)

Often one path-choice is just as good as another, but sometimes opportunity doesn't wait around.

  • I also had this problem so I decided to not think about intuiton as something in my gut or something "above" me or separated from me. I don't want it to be me going "woah, are you sure my intuiton? ok then... i trust you!"

Now, I trust myself and my own voice - and I don't feel like I depend on my intuition for clarity or answers. My responsibility for myself is my own. When I'm at crossroads, I close my eyes and try to focus on what my own essence feel. So I guess you can call that inner voice and intuition too :)

    • Katrine,

I was thinking about this too.... trust in ourselves is crucial. And if we doubt ourselves it creates-sets us up for failure....or second guessing.  Children & animals trust what they sense.

If we make a mistake... .that teaches-guides us as well.....

A mountain downhill  skier has no room for self doubt, and his-her confidence is self fufilling.

Yes , they say intuition has many ways of "speaking to us" rather than just thought.

Sometimes we have to back to step one, be ourselves, and forget what we "know"

      • I know, that is what I am thinking ^^ I recently quit a job I hated because it took its toll on me. I didn't know what to do next but I simply made a conscious/unconscious descision to end something that made me feel bad (the job). I also agreed with myself (if that's possible, hehe:) to not worry nor be relaxed about it... just simply quit because it didn't FEEL good. Next thing I know - I got another job, even more hours per week, a job that is relaxing and where I can learn about other people. I have experienced great injustice with my salary through my jobs, it feels like I am battling a system that is more powerful than me. Here too, I went into myself and decided that no, this has absolutely no power of me ^^ I am in charge of my life and my mind. I don't have the need for injustice in my life, why should I? I have lost a lot of money here but money is the worth I decide to give it. No one can give or take any worth from me. This knowing is probably called intuition? I go to work and suck out every experience I can from it. THAT will be the value and the worth of my work. THAT will create my love for my job. THAT will decide how rich I feel.

  • LOL@mariainia!

  • What if questions are genarally not bad, but often fail practical reference to real situations. Therefore regarding answers they are often useless and too theoretical in kind. This makes it a little easier to answer like this:

    1. You go another way.

    2. You make an experience you wish you had not made and complain for a certain time.

    3. You go a misserable way for a while finally thanking God he meant it better with you.

    4. You feel fucked thus having reason to tell an interesting story to your friends.

    5. You deside blowing off your intuition shit and follow according rational considerations.

    6. You discover the power of decisionmaking even the way your intuition lead you was wrong.

    7. Related to 6.: You develop skills to make gold out of shit.

All ways are generally not bad. You will discover, that not a certain way is important, but to make the first step, that is to move. Life is moving, even appearing often senseless.

Living is a protest against not moving. It is not a puzzle to be solved, but a mystery to be lived...

  • It is a judgement that intuition has misinformed you...  Intuition assures that you experience exactly that what you came here to experience...

    Much Love!

    Joshua

  • Thank you Feather Winger, I really like your explanation.
