I totally agree with this. I expect no one to come and rescue me from being a human living in a human world with all its polarity. It is up to us to change what we do not like. My kids used to look to me to fix everything that they did not like in their life, and when I could not "fix" things they resented me. It was not till I explained to them that it was up to them to find ways to deal with or change things they did not like or accept that there are some things in life that cannot be fixed, that is when they began to grow strength and character. We should not sit on our laurels and expect any species or whatnot come and rescue us. We need to help ourselves.
